You are absolutely right Vicky! Praise the Lord because He's given us a greater understanding of life and death, therefore leaving us with a comfort the world does not know. I pray that the Lord will give you, your husband and your family the strength that is needed during this trying time. Don't forget...

My sister was diagnosed with a form of pancreatic cancer, stage 4, going on 7 years ago. Hers is Neuro-pancreatic, so it formed tumors in both the liver and pancreas. She's still alive today! Thank you Jesus!! It is a JOURNEY, I'm praying for peace in the midst of this storm, for the doctors and care givers to be led by the Spirit into just the right care for your husband. You are SOOOO right, to die is to gain. We have this HOPE in Christ Jesus. I pray for guidance, direction, pain relief and healing for your husband. My sister is literally a walking miracle. She was given 2 weeks to 2 months to live. God says to test Him and know that He is God. You are a warrior and your husband is blessed to have you.

Your confidence in God is admirable.

We must remember that, even the people whom Jesus healed (lepers, Jairus' daughter, etc.) all died at some point. Jesus' healing is powerful, and His influence in this life is certainly something to turn towards; as you have correctly identified in your prayer, trusting Him & remembering to have hope for the next life are what is most important.

May the Lord answer your prayer & help your family through this difficult time!
