So ultimately I think that is what matters, not if we dont' agree with their business practice or peripherals.

People who have their faith uplifted by obvious frauds usually have problems so maybe some discredition is required.

Well I guess if you just gossip about people and you don't actually talk to them personally, we really don't know situation. The Bible says to hear out both sides of the matter. We too often listen to fake news, simply because it's tickling to our ears. It's juicy. But Jesus doesn't even entertain talking about other people. He may not be an honest person at all, and that is in the Lord's hands. What I have seen from him years ago, was uplifting and encouraged my faith. That just goes to show the power of the Lord using earthen clay. I have seen more than one creationist attacked by media. Look at kent hovind. He is probably one of the best teachers on creationism out there. But because He didn't pay his taxes He was looked at as a fraud. He simply believed in a movement called "citizen of state." And other loop holes that say in the law that churches don't need to fill out a 501c3 to be considered a charity. And he was actually right, technically. It's just that the IRS can't honor that law as it would put it out of business, so they put him in jail. So who was right? Both of them actually. The IRS did what they had to do, and Kent did what He thought was right. So I would not call him a fraud, I would just say that He may have different convictions than I do. I tend to simply follow the laws as I feel God has allowed those laws for a reason. If I don't like the law, I vote for someone who will replace it. That is the beauty of america.

Kent Hovind...

Hovind has developed his own interpretation of how the global flood came about, modestly naming his "theory" after himself.[44]

According to him, a -300°F[note 4] meteor on course for Earth fragmented; some pieces formed the rings around other planets or created Lunar craters.[45] Some fragments reached Earth and formed the North and South Poles, freezing the mammoths on their feet. The impact broke through the firmament, cracked the planet's crust and released the "fountains of the deep", causing ice age-like conditions (even though the Bible never mentions Noah's world being in a deep freeze). In the later months of the flood, ocean basins and mountain ranges were formed by shifting "unstable plates". As the post-flood centuries passed, the ice receded and formed the oceans, which in turn absorbed more carbon dioxide and atmospheric radiation, thus shortening human lifespans.[44]

His crazy theories that even other YEC s think are weird are the reason he lacks credibility. Not his tax evasions.

I am not sure if he even still believes that, I have literally gone through all his courses, probably forty or fifty classes, and I have never heard that. Rational wiki does not like creationists in general. If you can find a positive article about a creationist I may take back that they are biased against creationism, but I am 99 percent positive you can't. so I would toss out rational wiki as simply biased against it. Basically their arguments are to discredit someone. So say Trump has ten things that he says that are very intelligent on a business venture, then says one off the wall conspiracy theory. Well you don't toss all that information based on one idea. Typically the odd stuff comes out in casual conversation that was probably off the air, and over coffee, and it was just a theory. No harm. I like I said, have watched all his CSE classes and never heard of the meteor theory. But hovind has a lot of unique views. Some of it I agree with, some of it I don't. He for example believe real fire breathing dragons used to exist. I dont' know. It's possible. I don't put a lot of weight in it. But you can make a case for it I suppose....;

So again I can just say he is believes in mythological creatures and that his science is bunk. But without actually looking into the case for dragons one would not know.

Here are some other evidences:

Creation Worldview Ministries: The existence of fire breathing dragons

Here someone explains how fire could have worked in the stomach:

Finally legends and myths usually contain "some" truth

Since you are so well versed with Hovind`s lectures what do you feel is his most thought out creationist theory and what evidence to support his theory has he shown ?

I really hope those musings of dragons were not his greatest achievement.

Well I was not sure you were a creationist at first. But now I know you are not. But dont' dismiss the theory of dragons completely till you watch this...

anyway, I would love to explain some of my creationist arguments but this is not the thread for that. By the way I don't debate creationism, i typically debate intelligent design. But neither of those are the topic of this thread. So anyway. If you message me, I can post some of my notes from when I did debate the topic, but unfortunately I stopped debating creation and evolution simply because of the fact people get so passionate over it. To the point of being rude.

Fair enough. Do post on updates on your mining ventures though.
Well, I have several people praying over it, as well as myself. So far I don't have resources or a team. But that is not to say that this will never happen. There are many investors saying Gold will go up in value over the next ten years. So say in ten years, if Gold triples or quadruples to 5000 an ounce, then perhaps there will be more willing investors wanting to come on board. See right now mining at 1400 an ounce may be chump change to what it will be worth in the future. So my theory is that I am not in a hurry, the mine will only get more and more valuable in time as fiat currency fails. But it is very exciting the prospect of doing this. But I am afraid it will take much prayer and investors as well as gold exploration teams to do this properly, geologists can be on the exploration teams. The other thing is that by any mine you need to have water piped to the mine, mining takes water. So that would be an external cost as well. Anyway, I will update this thread when things start moving. Unfortunately I don't have a time schedule. It could literally take 10 or 30 years to do this or the rest of my life. But I will continue to do my investing, and if the Lord blesses me to be able to do this myself, then I would love to do that to. But what I am really excited about is the garden of eden. I would love the ability to have archaologists and paleantologists out there digging in the dirt. That stuff excites me. I don't need a mine to make a living, I get by just fine without it. But it's the prospect of changing the world, that is exciting. And changing the world in a way that can pay for itself.

Bit farther than that and

Asteroid mining - Wikipedia

will probably take off.

The $700 quintillion Asteroid Belt | Space Facts – Astronomy, the Solar System & Outer Space | All About Space Magazine

700 quintillions worth of precious metals might make a small dent on your profit marigin so might be better not to wait too long....
That could be next. But like I said I am more about finding the garden of eden than about the gold. But it's neat that it could be it's own source of income. But space mining could be a good thing eventually. Space X seems to be the latest and greatest in space exploration, I remember looking at their stock a few years ago. Maybe they could figure something out. But ultimately I think one flight is like a million dollars right now. So that would eat into your profits a bit.

True enough for now. Few decades in the future ? With increased space infrastructure, technology and automation ?

Interesting times.

Update, I found some rivers near the city and also some quartz deposits. The next step is to take water samples from wells in the area, and from the area's of the rivers, and from the quartz site to see if gold deposits are found. I guess they can also do a magnetic imaging from an air craft to search for condense mineral deposits. So that would be an option. Anyway just updating you guys, still in prayer phase at this point. But I thought it was neat that they are showing these things in the area. But right now they are about 120 miles apart. So tests would need to be done at the various locations, to see if there were traces of gold in the water or quartz deposits. I tend to think the quartz would be the first thing to check, then the dry river beds, then wells in the city. Now we just need some prospectors to fly there and check it out. Easier said than done. But anyway that is the progress.

Genesis 2:11-12
"Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads. The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one which skirts the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. And the gold of that land is good. Bdellium and the onyx stone are there."

Well I believe I have found it. I am not the first, but the last person to mention this place was 50 years ago and no mines have been started in the area. I need geologists. And prayer warriors to pray for some finances to fund this dig. This is important for Biblical reasons, this will reveal the REAL GARDEN OF EDEN LOCATION! I can't post it publicly my findings. But I have been fasting and I was reading in my devotions about the land of havilah in genesis, how there was lots of Gold, onyx and other precious stones. It just happens that I am a gold investor so it stuck out to me. I also realized that rockerfeller read the Bible about tar pits and invested in the first oil companies in the middle east. It just happens that because of sanctions most of the middle east is way behind on mining. They are sitting on the worlds best natural resources. But most people are not even looking in the right countries. Don't ask me how I found out, it was all God. I guess partly because I am in a fast right now, praying for victory spiritually and for other victories. So I realized people have been looking for this place for thousands of years literally, even companies have named themselves havilah. So I used alternative methods for finding the place, but several external witnesses made cross hairs right on a spot in the middle east. X marks the spot. But if you are interested, message me. (I won't partner with skeptics, I want it to be all christian, and only for christians). To help His body. Just so you know this is about charity, not me or you. If you are simply desiring money for a new house and car, this is not it. This is about funding ministries.
Oh no, I was after the gold. Guess that counts me out.
