Hi
My name is Marcin, from Warsaw/Poland.

I have converted back to Christianity about a year go. I was Christian since birth, in early 90s i have lost my faith, then in the late 90s came back, then lost faith again, then lately 2 years ago or so, i came back again and lost it again. All this time i was searching for God in my life, just in wrong places. Luckily i have found my faith again and it truly saved my life. I am struggling with mental illness and several other diseases for very long time, and Lord gave me a lot of peace of mind and a lot of hope. I am looking for christian people to meet, because i was in left wing community for very long time and now everything is different, but i still know mostly non-believers, so i feel a little bit lonely as a new born christian. I hope my english will be understandable for everyone, i am still learning.

Hi, welcome to the forum. Your English is quite good.

I thought you might be interested in improving your English by comparing versions of the bible. I see YouVersion has six Polish versions, so I hope you can find a good one. I personally use the World English Bible (WEB) but there are many other good English versions there.

I hope you can find some good friends here and be encouraged in your faith.

I am glad you have found your way back to the flock. The thing to remember is that after Adam and eve ate the forbidden fruit , and were cast out of Eden. Man was born into sin, and the sentence for sin is death. But Jesus came into the world to save it not condemn it. He was 100% God and 100% man. When Jesus was falsely accused and crucified on the cross for our sins, taking our sentence of death upon himself, and exchanging it for what was rightfully his. Jesus gave us his righteousness. we didn't deserve it, we didn't earn it, it was freely given to us. That is grace. That's why we as Christians need to do the following
1. Pray everyday. I use the ACTS method Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication.
2. Read and meditate on the Bible daily.
3. Fellowship. Getting involved with a Bible believing and teaching church. God has given you spiritual gifts. How can you use them if your not involved in church fellowship.
4. Witness to others. Just before Jesus was taken up to heaven He gave us The Great Commision. Matthew 28:19-20 " Then Jesus came to them and said " All authority has been given to me . Therefore go forth and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to to obey everything I have commanded you . And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. " Here are some refrences that might help you Churches Offer More Than Free Donuts | A Listly List. Prayers my friend.
