The garden of Eden is not here now if you notice? So how could anything about it seem to be any way? Noah is not here now. How could you say it seems to you he never saw a tree leaf a week after the bird returned with no fresh evidence of any tree?

Your theological views are none of my business and I'm really not interested, I thought we were discussing fossils.

How would you expect that remains of creatures that rapidly were disposed of in a time long gone would 'seem' a certain way to you now?

Because we can actually observe and examine the history of life on Earth in the fossil record and it looks exactly as any rational person would expect. The only reason to invent a fantastical alternate past is because reality doesn't jive with your interpretation of an ancient story.

The topic is why the fathers such as Adam could leave no remains. I am not interested in theological views that say they should have been able to. The evidence suggests they certainly were not able to. What evidence do you have that they were??

I agree. It looks exactly as I expect. I expect that there will not be men in the early record for reasons given in the OP.

I agree also! The only reason science has assumed man and most animals should be in the fossil record early on is because of belief.
