Is there any excellent Bible-believing teaching on Hebrews 9:11-28?

A decade ago, I studied the Blood of Christ and came away convinced that after his death Jesus ascended to heaven and offered his blood on the heavenly altar/mercy seat to actually wash away our sins.

Yesterday, I was preparing to teach this for a Bible study class but when checking what other teachers say. I found that most people say this passage is to be taken symbolically not literally.

Are there any good Bible-believing teachers that present a strong case for Jesus actually offing his Blood in heaven after dying on the cross? I am not interested in teachers who think miracles and such are only symbolic. I am going to humble myself and wait for the testimony of trusted "elders" on this issue.

====================================================

Hebrews 9:11
But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here, a he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation. 12He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining b eternal redemption. 13The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. 14How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, c so that we may serve the living God!

15For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

16In the case of a will, d it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it, 17because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living. 18This is why even the first covenant was not put into effect without blood. 19When Moses had proclaimed every command of the law to all the people, he took the blood of calves, together with water, scarlet wool and branches of hyssop, and sprinkled the scroll and all the people. 20He said, “This is the blood of the covenant, which God has commanded you to keep.” e 21In the same way, he sprinkled with the blood both the tabernacle and everything used in its ceremonies. 22In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

23It was necessary, then, for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with human hands that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence. 25Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own. 26Otherwise Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But he has appeared once for all at the culmination of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself. 27Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, 28so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

You could have a look at this:

"Then it says that he is raised and enters into the Holy of Holies, not in some human temple on earth like the priests went into, but into the heavenly tabernacle, in the heavens, not made by man, through the veil, through the flesh of Christ himself, into the very presence of God, to stand there and to intercede and mediate on behalf of all the sinners through his own blood, and securing thereby this eternal redemption, as the letter says, because he was offered through the eternal Holy Spirit of God, as the letter also says.

So we no longer are in an earthly sanctuary, and that’s why Christian churches, Orthodox churches, are built like the heavenly vision of the Apocalypse. Sure, they pattern the Old Testament temple, but it’s the Old Testament christened and the Old Testament made holy and divine in the heavens. It’s the temple of the coming age where there is no temple, where God and Christ is all and in all. But that’s still the holy place where Christ our great High Priest has entered into once and for all in his single offering, bringing his own blood to cleanse us."

Hebrews 9:11

15For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

I don't believe Christ went to heaven with His Blood in a container of sorts and applied it to the Mercy Seat in heaven.

I believe He entered int heaven after His resurrection and appeared at the Throne of God where He is now seated by the right hand of the Father.

His blood having been shed for sin is now the ground of His pleading and intercession for the pardon of sin.

There is an Ark of the Covenant in heaven (Rev. 11:19), but there is nothing in scripture that says He literally applied literal Blood to the Mercy Seat.

Actually I believe He is the Mercy Seat, as He is also the Ark of the Covenant.

He serves as our mercy, or the means by which we have mercy extended to us. He is the satisfier of the Law, which the Ark of the Covenant signified.

After this life, and you leave behind your physical body, then there is no "only symbolic".

Your next life with the Father is not "only symbolic".
That is your only existence, so it all the reality there is.

Amen!

Then why does the writer of Hebrews take such pains to move his flock from copies and shadows to heavenly realities (sublime and mind-blowing as they are)?
