Hi all,
My request is for my fiancé, myself and my fiancé’s uncle. At the moment, I’m the only one with a job. We recently moved in with a friend but last night he said he can’t take the late nights of us coming in late because it wakes him up. He’s an older gentleman so it’s understandable. But since I’m the only one really working, we can’t afford to move. My paycheck goes to car payments, insurance and other bills and we are barely scraping by. My fiancé works off jobs when someone needs a mobile mechanic but that’s enough for gas in the car and whatnot. His uncle has been on medical leave since September but works in a restaurant and doesn’t get paid unless he works. He’s needing shoulder surgery and knee replacement. He’s also fighting with disability to get something.

So I don’t know what to do anymore other than stress and worry we will all end up homeless. I need help someway somehow.

thanks.

Can you arrange your work schedule so you would get to the house earlier?

Anyway, sending prayers...

I work in retail so my schedule is all over the place... like tonight I’m off at 10:15 when tomorrow is 6:30.

sorry sister, I say this with all love an affection. But living together before marriage is sin. Having sexual relations before marriage is a sin. Even if you are living in separate rooms, it is an "appearance of evil." And temptation looms at the door. Before I rededicated to the lord a little over a year and a half ago, I was addicted to a host of life long addictions. God removed them one by one, and slowly financial blessing came. The bible says sin keeps a cloud over our prayers so that they cannot rise to heaven.

Lord have mercy! I pray that you get some relief, whether it be in the form of aid from disability, better paying/more stable employment, or whatever else would be a help to the three of you. Again, Lord have mercy.

My first prayer is that you not be used and taken for granted. Maybe that is not the case, but if it is...

You might want to get a book called "Boundaries" which could be at a library. Or you could just research the topic of boundaries in relationships, online, if you want to.

I pray you will be given wisdom, insight and guidance on what to do.
