I think you're right about the Democrats; did you see that group from the House that walked the articles of impeachment to the Senate? They looked like they were walking to the gallows.:(
so it would seem to me that even they figure they are wasting time.

I haven't always lived here though. I lived in the Mid-Atlantic most of my life. Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York to be precise. Down here it's mostly those who will vote for Trump, except for those closest to me and a few others. My friends and family in Pa, NJ, and NY are voting against him.

I guess it does make sense.

I hold no party affiliation. My mom and step-dad used to be democrats, but now my mom holds no party affiliation and my step-dad is a republican. He's a republican mostly for racist reasons though.
racist reasons? I am not sure what that is sense people of any race can belong to any party.

If he is going to stay for the long run, we need to pray for the change of his heart.
I pray for him each night, but why do you say a change in his heart?

My step-dad believes that republicans are mainly for white people in their policies, so that is why he is a republican, hence racist reasons.

Then why would it improve now when Obama was in office for two terms.

If you look at charts, you would see that Trump inherited an improving economy/country from Obama.

Yet, it was not until he got in office that unemployment dropped to record lows.

Okay, change his speech at least (lol). But then "out of the abundance of heart, the mouth speaks."

Why because they feel he was a great president and even the democrats know that he has changed things job wise and stuff.
Yes, jobs are up but wages are not and some sectors have been hit pretty hard by Trump's bonehead trade wars--and it's all supported by a rapidly rising government deficit.
Some of them are actually scared he will win.
Of course they are. Trump's main mission is to pack the courts in support of a religious extremest social agenda. There s not much of a future in this country for anyone who is not a "Bible-believing" Christian if Trump wins.
In fact Pelosi and Sanders have both warned their own party as much with their current platform.
The patent inadequacy of the Democrats to deal with Trump and his supporters is worth a thread of its own.

It was already on the way there.

Remember, Obama inherited an economic catastrophe. He had to fix what the previous administration caused. Trump inherited an economy that was already on it's way up. That includes a lowering unemployment rate.

I am not sure how you can say that non-Bible believing Christians will not have much of a furture here. First of all this country is not a Christian nation. Second of all, even though it has been heavily Christian sense the beginning Non-Christians have never been forced out or anything.

and I plan to vote for Trump and many people U know have the same intent. Do you feel he will get reelected?
I feel he will be re-elected because we’ve never addressed the issues that got him elected in the first place. The division has only gotten worse since then and the Democratic candidates aren’t really anything to write home about.

The House made no case for impeachment. No crimes were even identified. The leadership admitted that simply staining the reputation of the president for all of time to come was what they accomplished.

So in answer to the question, it looks as though the Senate is preparing to hear both sides and that this would require about three weeks.

Do you think it would be better for the Republicans to drag this out longer; to give the Democrats more time to look like fools?

....should the Senators take their oath seriously?

View attachment 270349

Good day,

There is quite a many Senator's that feel the house has not met the legal standards of evidence required under law.

If it dismissed for that reason I am sure the langue from the Senate will make it clear the House has failed to meet it's legal obligation... and look for the phase "shoddy work" by the prosecution in the ruling sent back to the house.

Now that will make history.

IN Him,

Bill

Good day, mnorian

I am not sure... it has been supposed that the President will not testify and the case will move quickly. Everything that the President what to tell the people about this and his view will be contained in the state of the union addressees on the floor of the house.

In that way the house will hear from him directly as will the whole of the country.. quite the Reagan move I kind of like it.

In Him,

Biill
