No matter what man or the devil may try, the Holy Spirit is able to maintain His Word.

This is because the Word is a Living Entity who took the form of a human - known as Christ, the Redeemer, Son of Man. He is the actual Holy Word.

Everything else is ink, paper and binding, which is why we have to 1) know Him, 2) know how to find Him, 3) diligently seek Him, and 4) have open ears and eyes to receive Him in order to walk in the spirit such that you don't need a book.

If our Father cannot reach us on His own power (without humans, or human invention), then is that really the Father we worship? What father would send their kids out into a foreign world without establishing a long-range, long term connection that would bring the child back to the father if s/he strayed too far? Again, this is why no one can snatch one out of His hand because 1) they are already His, and 2) there is no other than the Most High capable of doing such a thing.

I am not saying throw the bible out, but don't treat it as if it is the Holy Word, because that Entity is existent, has walked the earth and is the literal Image of the Most High (it is not a book). There are plenty of entities that exploit our unconscious worship of the book instead of the Entity known as the Word of the Most High.

If the Bible is not inerrant, which parts are not true? Can we trust the end time prophecies?
I am a Seminary-trained Bible teacher working as a self-supporting Christian worker overseas and I have bet my life on the truth of the Bible. I completely trust the end-time prophecies and I encourage my students to trust them as well.

Hi yes it is and you can trust the prophecies as even the promise of being raised from the dead and delivered from hell to eternal life is prophetic and certain. The history of the Bible including things like creation the flood, tower of Babel, Sodom and all have been proven accurate. The LORD tells us He has proclaimed the end from the beginning and He alone can do so. The argument is often over how to interpret them and I can tell you the lens to see them through is in the plain sense makes sense seek no other sense. God has given many specific details into what will happen and the main camps are divided by which lens they see things through. There is the allegorical lens, the historical lens which says all prophecy is mostly fulfilled and the literal lens which is anticipating the events relating to the tribulation and kingdom of God as future.
And who decides which lens to view different parts through? Can’t just be a free for all and it also can’t be 100 people saying the Holy Spirit is saying opposite things. Do how does one get truth clarity that isn’t from human beings?

I don't think that's a fair dichotomy. A lack of inerrancy wouldn't render anything in Scripture untrue. Truth is not contingent on something being inerrant, but only something being true.

Scripture can be true without being inerrant.

Note that I'm not arguing for or against inerrancy, only that I don't think these are mutually contingent.

Now this is a very interesting thing to consider imho.Lord Jesus defeated the enemy in the wilderness by quoting what is written.
Matt. 4:
4 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

Now imho, if Lord Jesus trusted what is written, then so can we. We have the indwelling Holy Spirit to guide us. Lord Jesus prayed the Father that we would be One as He and the Father are One. The Holy Spirit can and does maintain His Word.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Yes man twists and manipulates the scripture, but that does not make the scripture/Bible unprofitable.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Children of God, the Word of God must dwell in us richly!Lord Jesus is the Word
John 1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

When we have the Word of God in our hearts, we have Him and His Word must dwell in us richly for it is written
Col. 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

The cannon is painfully incomplete:

And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. John 21:25
Humans determine what is canonical, and what is not - for other humans. It is clear that not nearly all of Jesus' words are in the canon, and most of the NT books are by a man (not the Christ). So, there is a problem there - it is possible to be introduced to the Redeemer by the New Testament, but without context of the Hebrews (old testament, for example), and the knowledge of the worlds that exist in reality one will only reach confusion. It is up to the individual to determine what is profitable for their spirit, not man.

Contradictions and errors come about because man makes sure to put its nose in the spiritual business of others. Dogma and religion is the consequence of men allowing men to dictate their spiritual trajectory. The Spirit of Truth doesn't come from a book, it comes from a spirit - namely, the Holy Spirit. Someone can know the Most High without reading the bible canon, because "His sheep know His voice", and they will respond to Him no matter the circumstances.
God can assist people in their Bible study. My lust was diminished after I read the NT books so many times, I can not memorize it all. In spite of all their imperfections, the Gospels provided that I might not partake in violence. If someone strikes me on the cheek, I am supposed to turn and offer the other cheek. I steered away from Revelation even though others seem to admire it greatly. I can not put the symbols therein into coherent order. I do not define Satan as being who could be shackled in a pit, but allegory for the combined error and offenses of humanity. I know the Old Testament put forth the commandment, “Thou shall not kill.” In the same five Books of Moses, the children of Israel stoned someone to death for picking up sticks on the Sabbath. The death penalty for minor Sabbath violations is a contradiction. In the Gospels they wanted to kill Jesus for healing on the Sabbath. I know that is not perfect. I would like to get healed any day of the week. It is difficult to fast or repent in sack cloth and ashes. Already I am thin and may not need to buy another pair of shoes. If my job required expensive clothes, I might buy them. While wasting money is a sin, so is wasting time. God guided some into good advice in their Bible studies and also to advice not found in the Bible. God gave people tasks to complete. The Bible is not thick enough to contain all the commands the Holy Spirit gave a person.

The Bible is God’s Word. The Catholic Church canonized the books you have.. we were under the guidance of God and at the same time we researched and made sure what we canonized was correct.

The Bible has no error but it can be misunderstood.

Many christians have made the mistake of how they view and use the Bible. The Bible isn’t about any form of knowledge that one would rely on for academic and natural facts. The Bible is about God’s revelation to man. Period.
This has been taught by the church fathers such as St Augustine, and many (mostly Protestants) ignore this important advice and ended up not only misinterpreting scripture but also closing the door on knowledge and having just the Bible as their only source of IQ. Because of this, the Bible then looks inerrant, fiction, a product only bought by an imbecile, and even a dangerous book.

Title: Is the Bible the inerrant Word of God?
If the Bible is not inerrant, which parts are not true? Can we trust the end time prophecies?

You are asking several questions, the title of which should be in another forum. This is the End Times & Prophecy Forum, so your last question applies to this forum. They are two different issues.

But be that as it may, one must first define one's terms in order to cogently discuss the two issues.

Definition of biblical inerrancy:

James Cottrell, writing on the inerrancy of the Bible, says, it means “without error, mistake, contradiction or falsehood.” It means “true, reliable, trustworthy, accurate, infallible.” To say that the Bible is inerrant means that it is absolutely true & trustworthy in everything that it asserts.

Paul Feinberg: "Inerrancy means that when all the facts are known, the Scriptures in their original autographs and properly interpreted will be shown to be wholly true in everything they teach, whether that teaching has to do with doctrine, history, science, geography, geology or other disciplines or knowledge."

At the Chicago summit meeting of the International Council on Biblical Inerrancy in October, 1978, several hundred key evangelical leaders signed this statement:

Being wholly & verbally God-given, Scripture is without error or fault in all its teaching, no less in what it states about God’s acts in creation & the events of world history & about its own literary origins under God, than in its witness to God’s saving grace in individual lives.

The World Evangelical Fellowship affirms “[t]he Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy; and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.”

The arguments in support of the doctrine of inerrancy generally fall into four broad categories: inferential, deductive, inductive and historical. See the website below for a more detailed view & explanation of this.

Part III: INERRANCY — Chapter Four: Completely Trustworthy | Bible.org

Josh McDowell, an atheist who set out to discredit the Bible, in his studies came to believe in the accuracy & trustworthiness of the Bible & became a Christian. He has written two excellent books, 'Evidence That Demands a Verdict' and 'More Evidence That Demands a Verdict' on the trustworthiness & accuracy of the Holy Scriptures that we had then & what we have today.

Here are several videos of his where he explains these things.

Do you believe the Bible is the Word of God? Do you believe the Bible is true? Do you believe the Bible is historically accurate and reliable? Why?

Do you believe the Bible is true simply because you believe it or do you believe it BECAUSE The Bible is true & accurate?

Your faith, that you believe the Bible is true, somehow makes it true--for you--is completely different than saying the Bible is true & accurate, in & of itself, so my faith in it isn't blind faith but based on actual reliability & accuracy that I can intelligently show.

In other words, does someone's faith CREATE the truth about Jesus or does faith come by hearing & relying upon the the Word of God, which IS the truth we put our faith in & that it is historically reliable & accurate record of Jesus Himself? Again, faith does not simply create truth, the truth of the Word of God is what creates faith in something that is true, accurate & reliable.

We are saved by grace through faith IN JESUS, because He historically did rise from the dead & what He said is true because the record of His words, in the Bible is historically & bibliographically true & accurate.

Is what we have written today in our Bibles, the same as what was written 2000 years ago or has it been changed? In other words, is what we have today, what was written down? That is a valid question to ask.

A second question is: Was what was written down true? If what was written down is not true, then one can care less that what we have today was written down.

Does truth change with every person, over time & circumstances--or does truth remain the truth despite what one might believe about that truth at a given time or circumstance?

Example of this false assumption: People used to believe the earth was flat but now believe the earth is spherical or round. Is this really an example of how the truth changes? When everybody believed the earth was flat, was it really round? After people came to believe the earth was round (based on accurate & reliable evidence), had the earth always been round, despite unbelief that it supposedly wasn't?

Thus, the truth of a round earth didn't change; it remained the same. But one's perspective of truth changed. The subtle change is that people take their 'perspective of truth' & make it the truth at that time. WHY did they change their perspective about the earth?

Usually two reasons are given: testimony & personal experience of discovering it it truly round & the verifiable evidence & validity that it is round. Christians need to present the truth & accuracy of the Scriptures as God's revelation to mankind, with genuine love & humility, standing for the truth of the Bible.

People have attacked, maligned & sought to destroy the Scriptures for thousands of years--and IT IS STILL HERE & CAN be shown to be accurate & reliable from the thousands of manuscripts, uncials, early church father's quotes of it (whole bible can be put together just from these quotes alone), lectionaries & languages it has been translated into. There is more reliable & accurate evidence for the written Scriptures than for any other book written in antiquity! There is no comparison even close.

Historiography is the study of using principles which determine authenticity, accuracy & realiability of any written document. It uses the bibliographical test for any piece of literature: what is the timeline between when it was first written to the date of the copies which we have today & how many copies do we have, in order to examine & compare them, in the scientific & historical dating of these manuscripts?

One needs to recognize the importance that the material & ink used for those ancient manuscripts deteriorates over time. That is why copies needed to be made & preserved. The dead sea scrolls are in climatized cases & atmosphere, so that they can be preserved & not disintegrate. This is a fact of life.

Yet there is no comparison of any other literature of antiquity compared to the timeline of the Scriptures. There isn't even a close second. Watch the video for more evidence shown.

We can reliably trust that the Bible is accurate, truthful & can trust that God has indeed given us His 'breathed out' inspired Word, that the prophecies are accurate that are written in it & it can give us the knowledge of how one can be saved by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Authenticity of the Bible

How do you present truth in a world where all truth is equal?

Here is a Jewish rabbi verifying the accuracy of the Old Testament, from what was written originally to what we have today.

Again, we can find the manuscripts of the Holy Bible to be accurate & reliable as to the truth of God's 'breathed out' inspiration of the Holy Scriptures. But key to this is how one interprets them as to whether they believe the Bible is truly God's Word, His revelation to mankind or just a bunch of fairy tales that have some significance but little relevance to us.

Here is a world renowned Biblical scholar who is in the process of making copies of all known manuscripts of the Bible, for people to see. He is explaining how accurate the NT is & the variants we have today & by comparison of manuscripts, we can accurately determine the original text with what we have today. (Dr. Daniel B. Wallace)

In addition to the study of the thousands of bible manuscripts, both OT & NT and determining the reliability & accuracy of the Bible, we have the multitude of archaeological & historical evidences for showing the Biblical text is accurate, true & reliable & we can confidently place our intelligent faith in it for doctrine, morals & ethics.

Dogma and denomination has worked hard to restrict the LITERAL Word of God, and it has worked well for thoussnds of years . We are still responsible for falling away whether we have been misled, or if we chose to do so.

The Word of the Most High is a LIVING Entity - is this fully understood? The literal Word of the Most High is an Entity (not a book compiled by men) so why are you worried about what is contain in objects of man and material? Don't you believe the Holy Spirit can instruct you without a canonical text chosen by men?

Dogma and denomination have worked hard to make the Most High a poor excuse of divinity with limitations that nearly make Him tangible by man (which is the point). Of course texts are useful and could even be blessed by men, but the Most High has already blessed His Word, which is the Living Entity known as the Christ/Redeemer/"Son of Man".

The Most High has already put His Word and Law on the hearts and minds of His people so that they don't even need to go to their neighbour and ask them, "Who is God". Canonical texts are supposed to supplement the work you put into researching something. A textbook cannot replace the laboratory, and does not contain all thoughts of the author - and yet it is still incredibly useful. But, one can be fed by the Word of the Most High even if one is completely alone on another planet: because the actual Word of God is a LIVING Entity (not a canonical text made by fallen entities).

Even in the canon, we are told to test every single spirit we encounter.

Brother, yes, the Word is living but the Holy Spirit has moved upon Holy men to write and compile our canon. Now, I admit that the canon does not hold ALL of the Word, nor can it. But what is needful for salvation and instruction is in the canon. Sure the Holy Spirit guides us into all Truth. We can trust what the canon holds as truth without error for it too contains the Living Word of God. Otherwise we have no solid foundation to believe what we believe.

You may get the Living Word via prayer. I needed to read the Gospels for the Gospel must be preached to all nations. Who could get such a collection of sayings in a dream? Parts of the Bible are obsolete. I recognize this too. The Talmud contains some superstition, but I looked at this work as a guide to the way Jews interpreted the Torah going back to the first century BC. There may be better ways to seek God, but not everyone chooses the same path.

Let me be clear: there is nothing wrong with reading and hearing; the Holy Spirit also leads us (even in apparent error) in order to fully teach us so we don't lack anything. It uses all possible ways of "reaching us".

The canonical text, even down to the Hebrews, was a canonical text. The Word of God is a Living Entity, and His Word was a communication not based on ink and paper - there are specific reasons for this. One of the more noticeable reasons for this is because ink and paper can be used as tools of control, and can mislead entire nations if the book/scroll/contract/words/ink themselves are considered an authority. No man has the authority to dictate another man's spiritual trajectory - which includes declarations of what is real/fake, holy/corrupt, Word of the Most High/seed of the Old Serpent entity. These decisions are part of the patience, faith, endurance, intelligence and strength of the saints - the whole point is to be perfected in such a way that you lack nothing.

Humans have always ran to and fro saying things building things in the name of ignorance. Unfortunately, religion is not impervious to this corruption of ego and carnality. That is why at the kernel, we have to have faith in 1. The Father (the Most High), 2. The [literal] Word/Image of the Most High, 3. the fact that the Holy Spirit will minister to us in all ways that we can receive, even more (even if we are alone without any text or humans, like Adam, Seth and those early Hebrews).

Brother, yes, the Word is living but the Holy Spirit has moved upon Holy men to write and compile our canon.

In the bible, God says SPEAK to the people..., not write unto them for very specific reasons. It wasn't until a deep corruption of man that men began using ink and paper as tools and extensions for power and knowledge. With this alleged increase in knowledge (really ignorance), the doubt of one's own mind came in, and people began write things down instead of relying on the veracity of one's word. As said,

But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:

Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.

Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.

But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil. Matthew 5:34-37

Because man is corrupt, we cannot speak the truth. Because we cannot speak the truth, we use tools to give the illusion of truth - a way to separate from our carnality and project into an alleged neutral object (like a contract, book, scroll or general text). We know that the canon is not the complete Word of the Most High because of John 21:25, so it is by definition incomplete. We know the canon is a collection of books chosen by men - out of many other books - to be the representation of the Word of the Most High. That is, by definition, problematic when discussing error. Are other canonical texts from other denominations errant, then?

Now, I admit that the canon does not hold ALL of the Word, nor can it. But what is needful for salvation and instruction is in the canon. Sure the Holy Spirit guides us into all Truth.

The Holy Spirit should be the first (and only) thing that guides us.

We can trust what the canon holds as truth without error for it too contains the Living Word of God. Otherwise we have no solid foundation to believe what we believe.
Romans15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Humans lie; any institution can make a canonical text and call it the holy bible. Indeed, several do. This is why a relationship with the Literal Word of the Most High is more important than reading any text, or hearing from any created entity.

You are right that men lie and that some sects have made their own "holy" books. But the Holy Spirit has given us the written Word of God. A relationship with Lord Jesus Christ is essential but even He quoted what was written.

Let me be clear: there is nothing wrong with reading & hearing; the Holy Spirit also leads us (even in apparent error) in order to fully teach us so we don't lack anything. IT--uses all possible ways of "reaching us".

That you would even assert that the Holy Spirit would lead us, even in apparent error, is blaspheming the living God. The Holy Spirit is God, the third Person in the Triune God. Yet you call the Holy Spirit an 'it', which is contrary to the stated purposes of this website, CF, & contrary to the ancient accepted Nicene & Athanatius Creeds.

James 1:13-16 When tempted, NO ONE should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when by HIS OWN EVIL DESIRES he is lured away & enticed. Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin & sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. Do NOT BE DECEIVED, my beloved brothers.

Matt 12:32 Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the one to come.

Isaiah 32:6 For a fool speaks nonsense & his heart inclines toward wickedness: to practice ungodliness AND TO SPEAK ERROR AGAINST THE LORD, to keep the hungry person unsatisfied & to withhold drink from the thirsty.

Psalm 18:30 This God—His way is PERFECT; the word of the Lord PROVES TRUE; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him.

Numbers 23:19 God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should repent. Has He said & will He not do it? Or has He spoken & will He not FULFILL it?

Romans 3:1-8 What, then, is the advantage of being a Jew? Or what is the value of circumcision? Much in every way. FIRST OF ALL, they have been ENTRUSTED WITH THE VERY ORACLES (words) of God.

3What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith NULLIFY God’s faithfulness? Certainly not! Let God be TRUE & every man a liar. As it is written:

“So that You may be proved RIGHT when You speak & victorious when You judge.” But if our unrighteousness HIGHLIGHTS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD, what shall we say? That God is unjust to inflict His wrath on us? I am speaking in human terms. Certainly not!

In that case, how could God judge the world? However, if my falsehood accentuates God’s TRUTHFULNESS, to the increase of His glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner? Why not say, as some slanderously claim that we say, “Let us do evil that good may result?” Their condemnation is deserved!

Deut 32:4 “The Rock, His work is perfect, for all His ways are just. A God of faithfulness & & WITHOUT INIQUITY, just & upright is He.

You are right that men lie and that some sects have made their own "holy" books. But the Holy Spirit has given us the written Word of God. A relationship with Lord Jesus Christ is essential but even He quoted what was written.

I am thinking He quoted what He is (the Word of the Most High) - what He told His disciples (who later wrote it down and passed it down as Hebrew tradition). He would know Hebrew tradition, including the Law He gave the prophets, because He is the Law, and the Literal Living Word of the Most High. So, He is technically quoting Himself when He quotes the prophets, and scripture.

I am not saying the canon is bad, but what I am saying is there are entities that depend on, and exploit our respect for a canonical text as [an arrangement of texts put together by men with the purpose of representing the inspiration of] the Word of the Most High. In fact, some dogmata depend on our ignorance of the aforementioned bracketed context despite the fact that the Word of God is a Living Entity. This is, and has been used to hijack, pollute and destroy humanity.

If people in a time of illiteracy, for example, knew that the Most High communicated through spirit (not text, written words or even another man necessarily), then they would not be dependent on institution or other humans to tell them what to accept. They would be open to the spirit, because they would be searching for it - if they are from the foundations. The exploitation lies on the strength of one to accept a canonical text and "proper" hierarchy as an authority. I am saying none of that is necessary - not even the text; if you from the Most High, you will seek the Most High, and the Most High will find you (because He will never "lose" you anyway), and the Holy Spirit will instruct you.

Science along with the help of satan has been very successful, in bringing doubt from humanity and even believers toward the Bible especially in areas of creation. And in some areas man created history has also contributed to doubt.

It is true that the Bible in print now is not the original writing's. But what we have is as close to the original understanding as can be, without actually using the original text.

And the 1 or 2 verses that are not correct are known.

Apparent, as in alleged, outwardly, or seemingly. In other words, despite our painful ignorance, and inability to determine what is right and wrong (and actually follow through with it), the Holy Spirit will still lead us [context: into redemption] even if it seems to our ignorant minds that it is the wrong way - He will use apparent error, and reveal the Truth while redeeming us.

The Most High will not send a spirit of confusion on His people because He loves His people, and He is Perfect. Even evil men who lie for fun know not to give their little children a rock and tell them it is a fish for eating.

In the bible, God says SPEAK to the people..., not write unto them for very specific reasons.

This should be embarrassing to you, cherry picking only part of a verse out of its context & ignoring the multitude of verses where the living God spoke His Word & told the prophet or apostle to write it down & give it to the people! Even the 10 commandments were written down--TWICE! And the first time it was God Himself who wrote down what He spoke to the nation of Israel from Mt. Sinai!

Ezekiel 43:10,11 As for you, son of man, describe the temple to the people of Israel, so that they may be ashamed of their iniquities. Let them measure the plan & if they are ashamed of all they have done, then make known to them the design of the temple—

its arrangement & its exits & entrances—its whole design along with all its statutes, forms, & laws. WRITE IT DOWN IN THEIR SIGHT, so that they may keep its complete design & all its statutes & may carry them out.

Exodus 17:14,15 The LORD then said to Moses, "WRITE THIS DOWN ON A SCROLL AS A REMINDER AND--recite it to Joshua-- I will completely blot out the memory of Amalek under heaven."

Exodus 32:33 The LORD replied to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot out of My book." Even God has a written book of life with names in it.

Exodus 20:22 And the Lord said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the people of Israel: ‘You have seen for yourselves that I have talked with you from heaven.

Exodus 24:3-8 Moses came & told the people all the words of the Lord & all the rules. And all the people answered with one voice & said, “All the words that the Lord HAS SPOKEN WE WILL DO.” And Moses WROTE DOWN ALL THE WORDS OF THE LORD.

He rose early in the morning & built an altar at the foot of the mountain & 12 pillars, according to the 12 tribes of Israel. And he sent young men of the people of Israel, who offered burnt offerings & sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the Lord. And Moses took half of the blood & put it in basins & half of the blood he threw against the altar.

7Then he took THE BOOK OF THE COVENANT & READ IT in the hearing of the people. And they said, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do & we will be obedient.” 8And Moses took the blood & threw it on the people & said, “Behold the blood of the covenant that the Lord has made with you IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL THESE WORDS.”

What was written down & read was what the LORD had spoken.

Exodus 34:27 The LORD also said to Moses, "WRITE DOWN THESE WORDS, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you & with Israel."

Numbers 33:1,2 These are the journeys of the Israelites as they came out of the land of Egypt by divisions under the leadership of Moses and Aaron. At the LORD’s COMMAND, Moses KEPT A WRITTEN RECORD OF THEIR PROGRESS. These are the stages of their march, identified by the different places where they stopped along the way.

Jeremiah 36:2 TAKE A SCROLL & WRITE ON IT ALL THE WORDS I HAVE SPOKEN TO YOU concerning Israel, Judah & all the nations, FROM THE DAY I FIRST SPOKE TO YOU during the reign of Josiah until today.

Deut 31:19,22 "Now therefore, WRITE DOWN this song for yourselves & teach it to the children of Israel; put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for Me against the children of Israel. Moses therefore wrote this song the same day & taught it to the children of Israel.

Exodus 4:13,15 "Now go! I will help you AS YOU SPEAK & I WILL TEACH YOU WHAT TO SAY. You are to speak to him & put THE WORDS in his mouth & I, even I, will be with your mouth & with his mouth & I WILL TEACH YOU BOTH WHAT YOU ARE TO DO.

Habakkuk 2:1-3 I will stand at my guard post & station myself on the ramparts. I will watch to see what He will say to me & how I should answer when corrected. Then the LORD answered me: “WRITE DOWN THIS VISION & CLEARLY INSCRIBE IT ON TABLETS, so that a herald may run with it. For the vision awaits AN APPOINTED TIME; it testifies of THE END & DOES NOT LIE. Though it lingers, wait for it, since it will SURELY COME & not delay.

Romans 15:4 For everything that was WRITTEN IN THE PAST WAS WRITTEN for our instruction, so that through endurance & the encouragement of THE SCRIPTURES, we might have hope.

Many more verses could be posted but these are plenty to show the differences between what the Bible, the Holy Scriptures actually say vs someone's conflated opinion with one partially isolated verse taken out of context supposedly says.

We can trust the reliability & accuracy of the Bible as the written Word that God originally spoke & commanded for it to be written down as a testimony & as His revelation to mankind--that salvation is found in no one else but the Lord Jesus Christ, 'the only name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.'

"...despite our painful ignorance, and inability to determine what is right and wrong (and actually follow through with it), the Holy Spirit will still lead us [context: into redemption]

You keep going further backwards in your statements, like the one above, again ignorant of the Scriptures, what God Himself says. The very Scriptures tell us what is the truth & what is right & wrong.

The context actually is leading & guiding into all THE TRUTH. The Holy Spirit's very role is to lead & guide us into all the truth, the very truth Jesus spoke & had written down from the Father. The Holy Spirit does not lead us into & with 'apparent' error; He leads & guides us into all the truth, Who Jesus is & what He spoke & had written down.

John 14:23-26 Jesus replied, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word. My Father will love him & We will come to him & make Our home with him. Whoever does NOT love Me does NOT keep My words. The word that you hear is not My own, but it is from the Father who sent Me.

25All this I have spoken to you while I am still with you. But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things & WILL REMIND YOU OF EVERYTHING I HAVE TOLD YOU.

John 16:13-15 However, when the SPIRIT OF TRUTH comes, He will guide you INTO ALL TRUTH. For He will NOT speak on His own, but He will speak WHAT HE HEARS & He will declare to you what is to come.

H
e will glorify Me by taking FROM WHAT IS MINE & DISCLOSING IT TO YOU. Everything that belongs to the Father is Mine. That is why I said that the Spirit will take from what is Mine & disclose it to you.

We Christians have in the Bible what God says is right & wrong & are given the Holy Spirit, whereby HE empowers us to do right!

Gen 3:22 Then the Lord GOD said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us in knowing good & evil." Clear back in Genesis 3 this was true!

Micah 6:7,8 Would the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I present my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? No, O mankind, the LORD has told you what is good & this is what He requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy & to walk humbly with your God.

Jeremiah 22:3 This is what the LORD says: Administer justice & righteousness. Rescue the victim of robbery from the hand of his oppressor. Do no wrong or violence to the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow. Do not shed innocent blood in this place.

Ezek 33:14 So when I tell the wicked man, 'You will surely die' & he turns from his sin & DOES WHAT IS JUST & RIGHT--

John 17:6-8,17 I have revealed Your name to those You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours; You gave them to Me & THEY HAVE KEPT YOUR WORD. Now they know that everything You have given Me comes from You. For I have GIVEN THEM THE WORDS YOU GAVE ME & THEY HAVE RECEIVED THEM. They knew with certainty that I came from You & they believed that You sent Me.

17Sanctify them in the truth; YOUR WORD IS TRUTH. As You sent Me into the world, I have also sent them into the world. For them I sanctify Myself, so that they too may be sanctified by the truth.

John 15:9-15 As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Remain in My love. If you KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments & remain in His love.

11I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you & your joy may be complete. This is My COMMANDMENT, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

14You are My friends if you DO what I command you. NO LONGER do I call you servants, for a servant does NOT UNDERSTAND what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because everything I have learned from My Father I have MADE KNOWN TO YOU.

The Most High will not send a spirit of confusion on His people because He loves His people & He is Perfect.

You again show your ignorance of the Scriptures & the power of God. Although God is perfect & not the author of confusion, He will allow a lying & confusing evil spirit access to His people, who will follow this lying spirit's words because they had already rebelled against God's spoken & written down Word & were disobeying what He had already told them. They refused to believe the truth & instead, God knew that they would believe lies.

2 Chron 18:20-22 Then a spirit came forward, stood before the LORD & said, ‘I will entice him.’ ‘By what means?’ asked the LORD. And the spirit replied, ‘I will go out & deceive all of Ahab’s prophets to speak lies.’ “‘You will succeed,’ said the LORD. ‘Go ahead & do it.’

I John 4:1-6 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but TEST the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you will know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God & every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God.

This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming & is already in the world at this time. You, little children, are from God & have OVERCOME THEM, because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

5They are of the world. That is why they speak from the world’s perspective &* the world listens to them. 6We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. That is how we know the Spirit of truth & the spirit of error (deception).

John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil & you want to carry out his desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, refusing to uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar & the father of lies.
