As I've gotten older I've not only been learning about God but I've also been struggling. I see a mental health therapist at school, and a group skills/thereapy. and I occasionally visit my psychiatrist for meds. So I am getting the help that I need and chemically in my brain I've been doing alright when it comes to my anxiety and depression. The things that are making feel worse are the lack of positive people in my life, friends, and i get bullied at school.
The last couple weeks i've just been feeling miserable and alone because i feel like no one likes me. More people insult and attack me then encourage me, support me, etc.

I'm not a reborn christian yet but that is the goal. I'm still reading the bible and learning and I would like to learn and believe in the correct things first before i make such a huge commitment to the lord.
I've heard great things that have happened to those who are saved, for example- no more nightmares, the person doesn't sin anymore and if they do in error they are able to identify it later and ask for forgiveness. They overall feel better nd their mind is clear.
I don't know how many people on these fourms are actually saved and chosen for heaven because only 10% of christians make it there. That's 1 in every 5 christians....so if any of you saved christians are out there what do you think?

look like you have received some misinformation, about believers/christianity.

Receiving Eternal Life is not about commitment but receiving Eternal Life is about understanding who/or what object to direct your faith to/in.

If you want to be born again it is not a long drawn out event.

When a person understands that Jesus of the New Testament is the promised Messiah from Old Testament prophecies, that is the only begotten unique Son of God. Then a person simply trust in Jesus for the free gift of His Eternal Life. When a person trust in Jesus for Everlasting life they have received the free gift. You may not feel any different, if you have an illness you will not suddenly be cured. And actually if you began living a life for God, your life may become more difficult in certain areas.

Trusting in Jesus for Eternal Life gives you Eternal Life, it does not make your life problem free.

I have good news for you. Being born again means exactly what it implies. You gain a new spirit, your inner man and new life dwelling in your new spirit. It is the Life of Christ. It is a wonderful and life-changing transformation.
You will still face problems. The Christian life is amazing and there is a lot to learn. It can be difficult, mostly because we keep trying to live the Christian life ourselves. Some problems drop off instantly. Others are a battle.
You need to know God's definition of "Christian". Just because someone makes the claim does not mean that they meet God's definition. I live in Australia but I am not Australian. I was born in England. If I was born here, I would be Austral-ian. To be born of Christ means that you are Christ-ian.
Once you are born again, you are accepted by God forever. The Life of Christ is eternal. It cannot die. All God asks of us is to stay where he has put us - into Christ.
Once you are born again, God begins to set us free from the old way of life that clings to us. It is a process and takes a lifetime. How much progress you make depends on how you cooperate with God when He shows you things that need to change.
As an example, I've had a bit to do with single mothers. Often, the core of their lives is the child. The child often rules the mother and saying something is likely to leave you headless. The child is an idol. God demands that the child no longer is the centre of the mother's world. That can be really hard. But there will be no progress until that happens.

This link will help you with your journey.

John 12:25

Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

John 15:19

If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

James 4:4

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

1 John 2:15

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1 Corinthians 4:11

Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling place; 12 And labor, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: 13 Being defamed, we entreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the off scouring of all things unto this day. 14 I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you."

Matthew 5:3

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. 6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. 7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. 10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Luke 6:20

“Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. 21 Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh. 22 Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. 23 “Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets. 24 “But woe to you who are rich, for you have already received your comfort. 25 Woe to you who are well fed now, for you will go hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep. 26 Woe to you when everyone speaks well of you, for that is how their ancestors treated the false prophets.

2 Corinthians 12:10

That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Matthew 10:22

You will be hated by everyone because of Me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

Philippians 1:21

For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. 22 If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! 23 I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; 24 but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. 25 Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith

1 Thessalonians 3:7

Therefore, brothers and sisters, in all our distress and persecution we were encouraged about you because of your faith. 8 For now we really live, since you are standing firm in the Lord.

Technically yes saved person can never sin since you become born of God , there is literally you alredy in heaven sitting there don't ask me how God did it I don't know just telling what Bible says .

Ye but earthly part your body is still alive and you should use it to glorify God however u can but it will die , its sinful and you need new body which u will get at ressurection.

No your depression probably won't go away , sometimes people get depression after they got saved because they woke up from this dream Luciferian world and are exposed and taken out of this world and see most things people do as meaningless and useless. Like people cheer up wow look this ball passed a line made with paint on grass what a miracle let's shout in front of your TV because such event took place - this kind of stuff becomes useless and meaningless and you feel isolated because you no longer belong to this world who takes happiness from useless things like that so you feel abandoned but in reality you are okay.

You can find happines back by sharing gospel of salvation with unbelievers, only thing that really matters in this fallen world.
