The non denominational churches I attended had different methods.
The first had groups that met before and after service to accommodate different schedules. Children’s church took place concurrently with the main one.
The second used the concurrent model for children. But adults only had small groups that gathered primarily in member’s homes.
The third met before services began for adults and concurrently with the main service for children.
All of them placed a big emphasis on adults meeting together. This didn’t include bible studies, classes, prayer groups, and special events.
