Has anyone experienced passive-aggressive tactics in a workplace to try to get you to fail or quit?

6 Tell-Tale Signs that Your Boss Wants You to Fail

If you are in a secular work environment, how would you handle it in a distinctively-Christian manner?

If you are in a ministry work environment, how would you handle it differently than if you were in a secular environment?

Sounds like a visit to HR is in order if available. If not, you go to who they answer to.

There is nothing unChristian about it. Especially if you have tried to talked to your boss first and hit a brick wall.

just remember that HR are 90% in the boss's corner.their actual job is to protect the boss from employee harassment.
sometimes you just have to move on. bosses hold most of the aces.
otherwise there might be a government authority you can contact . ombudsman they call it hear. they can intervene if you get unfairly sacked

Simple - I got another Job, that God provided at the right time. Problem solved.

Yes. I witnessed to a co-worker. From that time on, he tried to get me fired. I could have responded better. After several weeks and some less than edifying arguments, the boss realised that the other worker was the instigator. Since we were both pig-headed, someone had to go. By the grace of God, it was not me! I was there for another 8 years. How would I handle it now? Pray a lot more. Stand against the demons, not fight the individual.

At my last job, before I retired, I was warned about a particularly obnoxious worker. He did not discriminate. He held everyone in contempt. I don't know how he kept his job, but he was mates with the manager. I used to pray and bind the evil spirits every day before I got into the office. The boss commented that the worker had been less difficult since I started. I did not say so, (I'd learned something at least) but I wondered how bad he was before!

It's not easy to keep cool when the insults are flying. The temptation to defend yourself is strong. I more or less kept my mouth shut except for a couple of instances, which I immediately regretted. Only by the grace of God can we overcome in these situations. I was there for 3 years.

Eventually, the job I was doing morphed into something I was not good at and I also did not enjoy. I don't know that it was deliberate. I was close to retirement anyway, so I resigned. It was a tremendous relief. I don't miss the workforce on bit.

Did you inform them of the events that led you to your resignation? Or did you simply tell them that you've found another job?

I agree, although it could be perceived or labelled as unchristian.
Well... it could be but they would be wrong. Christianity does not equal doormat. We do have a right to an opinion, or a legitimate complaint. The point is it being sincere and legitimate. Not to destroy someone. We have a right to justice like anyone else.

It is a tactic. If you quit you do not get unemployment. My boss did it all the time. I would suggest to do your best and shine. After all we have the Holy Spirit and the power of God. When you walk in His Holy Spirit with love, His love will cast out all fear. Rise above it and shine! and fear not!
Blessings

thats a good article by the way....ive seen that kind of nasty behaviour from bosses. Its evil. And they know it. theyve embraced evil. but if you stay in the game long enough you might become evil too. when you become a boss. they get off on narcissistic powerplays. But its more gaslighting so you cant call them on their BS. Its why people get stressed out .because they have to work in insane workplaces for satanic bosses.

I informed 'em. They disagreed.
