Ive had dreamss of the end of the world since i a teenager, so about 20 years. Ive had the repeatedly through the decades. I havent had one in a while. Almost a year and ive had 2 in the past week. The last one was the most vivid. In the the storm was coming from the west. And as the storm came thousands of birds were falling in its wake. They were falling like snow. And a dragon flew towards me and my family. I rushed us inside so we could pray. My step dad was outside parking the car or something. And he was killed by the dragon. A limb from the dragon severed in my step dad. My mom looked out and her head was severed. I woke up and freaked out accordingly.
Amyome having similar dreams? Anyone have an idea what it means? Scariest thing ever.

You end with a premise that it has to mean something. Why do you believe it has to? Maybe you're better to ask could it mean something?

And let me ask you. You might answer no you don't and fine...but I can't help but ask. What do you allow yourself to be entertained with. Have you in the past been a large fan of fairly dark entertainment things like the "Walking Dead" TV show or similar rather grotesque imagery in film or in reading? Have you had an appetite for the bazaar is what I'm asking. If that's all you're into it might not be any surprise such things are reflected in your dreams.

If not you should consider that your strange dreams periodically still doesn't have to mean anything. I've done some experimenting before along these lines. I've purposely gone to sleep wearing headphones having Bible teaching playing in my ears. Yes lo and behold in my dreams I'd be hearing this preacher preach. So what did the dream mean? Nothing really. The human brain or spirit seems to create images in regard to whatever you're into and when I say into it it can merely be by entertainment.

You guys give valid points for dreams occuring. But the old testament showed slaves and royalty both had dreams that God could interpret. Also ive mentioned ive been having these dreams for 20 years with the recurring theme. That seems beyond eating a late meal or watching the walking dead. But thank you for weighing in.

If I were having dreams like that I would be praying the Blood of Jesus over my dreams. Satan is the author of death and destruction not God. "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John10:10)

I remember a youth pastor who said there are three types of dreams. Dreams from God, dreams from the devil and dreams from eating to much pizza before you go to bed.

Yes, everyone does tend to put their own template onto what they read, but I did notice you'd said for 20 years. That's meaningful.
