Is Isaiah 17 coming up?

Given Iran's penchant for indirectly attacking the US through proxies or attacking US friends, an attack on Israel might make sense. Iran has already been working on a long-term plan to attack Israel. Maybe it is ready enough.

Daniel Pipes, a Middle East expert, thinks Israel might be a target:

Predicting the Fall-out from Qasem Solemeini's Death

That leaves two questions: What are the Iranian going to do and what are the Americans going to do?

The Iranians are going to respond indirectly to the United States, maybe via cyber-hacking and other non-kinetic, non-violent forms of response. I think they might well attack Israel and Jewish interests, but not Americans; they don't want to take on Trump.

Hasn't Damascus already been in ruins at some point in history?

With this whole Iran/US WWIII thing, my response is just "whatever" because none of us, unless we're military leaders or in government positions or soldiers, have any power to stop anything. Worrying will do nothing.

In the event that this did escalate into a war, I would just want to be ready to help those displaced or grieving or otherwise burdened. And pray, of course.

If that comes to pass, all it will show most Americans is that Iran was just 'talking tough,' as usual, in the wake of Soleimani's death.

Israel isn't the USA, and Iran has been talking about destroying Israel for the past 40 years anyway.

Back in 1996 two US senators one Republican and one Democratic stated if Iran attacked a US facility that the US should respond to it as an act of war.

If you been around you know when it comes to IRAN they are not moved by time as in look at your watch. They have no problem waiting. And "Hasn't Damascus already been in ruins at some point in history?" No this has never once happened. The reason is "The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap."

I am not worried no fear... yeah nothing. The word talks about Israel and blooming and all against her. We see this more and more every day. So me? Can't help but keep looking up :)
