Thats terrible, most of you should support law and what is right,
Such as the law in the Bible.
Bad evil ones kill US personnel.
And eventually they get what they deserve.
We could call it an eye for an eye.

Trump warns Iran: US has targeted '52 Iranian sites' and will 'hit very fast and very hard' if needed

"Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago), some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD," Trump said Saturday, explicitly laying out that the U.S. will act if Iran retaliates.

Trump is taking the threats coming from Iran very seriously. They would be smart at this time to come back to the negotiating table with open minds and hearts.

If that is even possible for the leadership over there? It is what their people want.

They miss the good old days when they were friendly with America. My dentist graduated from a dental college in Iran and he loves living in America and his relatives would enjoy just a little taste.

Donald Trump warns Iran that 'we have targeted 52 Iranian sites' if any Americans are attacked - CNNPolitics

(CNN)Donald Trump on Saturday drew what may come to be seen as the most significant red line of his presidency in a three-part tweet, vowing specific military action against Iran if it "strikes any Americans, or American assets."

"We have ... targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago), some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture" and "if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets... Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD," Trump wrote in a series of tweets.
The US had backed the shah of Iran many years ago. He was a dictator on friendly terms with the US. Iranians following a Shiite cleric deposed him in 1977-78. The Ayatollah returned from France to rule. They do not accept any other religion except Shiite Islam. That puts them against most of the world who do not want to be subject to Islamic law. They will be against the US. The ayatollah used to call the US the great Satan.

Iran gained control in Iraq after Saddam and his Sunni Muslim minority were put out by the US invasion of Iraq. Deposing a bad leader does not guarantee a good leader will take his place.

Since jihad (war) is a principle of Islam, problems from Islam happen to this day.

That's the president I voted for!!!

God bless you Mr. Trump and keep you!!!

We will no longer be shoved around by the enemies of this world.

Someone to finally stand up against evil.

AMEN!!!

There's nothing new about any of this - we've been going the violent route since the dawn of man. It doesn't work. As someone said, peace doesn't come easy (usually via war - ironically), but I still believe it's the only way.

It's 2020, it's (finally) time to be revolutionary about the way we do things.

Seemed to work regarding Germany and Japan?
No one living close to us up here on the old dirt road are speaking German or Japanese.

Unbelievable that so many Americans are rallying behind a President that publicly proclaims that he is going to commit war crimes. If the US were to deliberately target cultural sites in Iran that would put us in the same boat as al Qaeda, ISIS, and the Taliban because destroying cultural sites is what they do.

USA is such a bully. Killing foreign generals, attacking on foreign lands and when some smaller country wants to defend itself, you will use all your astronomical military power to bully or destroy them.

Modern day Rome.

So, I'm thinking then that you would say - in a shoe is on the other foot scenario - that if, say, Russia was invited into, say, Syria by the sovereign Syrian nation's government to help defend them against say, ISIS and an attack happened against, let's say, Russian and Syrian forces and Russian embassy were attacked by loyalists of the U.S. military and then said U.S. military general showed up on the ground in Syria in order to better coordinate further attacks against Russian troops, there legally on all counts, that it would be an act of war against the U.S. for Russia to kill the U.S. general so that the attacks might be stopped in the planning stages, before further loss of life occured?

Your saying in this exact scenario it would be Russia as the aggressor against the U.S. and not the other way around?

I'm just curious if this is just anti-American hatred or if this is really your idea of right and wrong, because I definitely would see the U.S. as the aggressor in the above scenario and not Russia.

There is a reason when fighting proxy wars you keep your training and planning heads outside the sphere of direct combat...plausible deniability disappears with boots on the ground.

There is no doubt that Iran is at war inside Iraq with the U.S., that's been years now. But saying they have a right to coordinate all the attacks against us they want without ever having fear of reprisal is just not a winning plan for war - war Iran instigated.

Well thank God
most of us living in America today
support America.
It ain't rocket science for most.

America doesn't just consist of the mountain you live on. Thank God most living in America are decent and do not support Trump. I'm an American living in Canada. The overwhelming majority strongly oppose Trump.

It's not rocket science. What you seem to be so proud of Trump for is him cluelessly, cruelly, recklessly bragging on Twitter about wanting to commit an international war crime. Targeting culturally important sites with no strategic value is specifically outlawed. That's exactly what Trump has done in his Tweet, probably written from his golf course in between him stuffing his fake tanned face with ice cream. What he wants to do is what ISIS does. They blow up historically valued beloved irreplaceable sites just to be evil. It's disgusting & the most counterproductive and stupid thing he could threaten. It's illegal so he can't just order that. But he is dependent on his base not knowing or caring about the legal or moral aspects. I mean you're not going to fight yourself. No risk of that. You can sit in your recliner & play with your goats and cheer on Trump's tweets safe & comfy. I made friends with the guy who used to be here who went by Go Braves. He really DOES study rocket science, he's getting his degree in aerospace engineering from the best uni in America for it. He's in the Reserves bc he believes in serving his country. He got a full scholarship to college so he's not doing it for the money but honour for his country, it's this tradition in his family going back generations where all the boys enlist to serve. So HE could end up being deployed bc of Trump. He could get blown up. You won't be.

Reminds me of something that Hillary would have said and I read no further.

Ones just like that remark are why Trump won last time.

Trump says thanks once again in 2020.

You just claimed that most Americans support Trump then bring up Clinton which of course leads to the discussion that millions more voted for her not him. I'm honoured that my post reminded you of her. If you ever thought I sounded like Trump I'd feel so ashamed. He's not a lawyer & he's proud to be ignorant of the laws. What you're proudly sharing about is Trump boasting about wanting to commit an international war crime that terrorists commit. I get that you want to giggle about that, but it's the fact.

Of course you couldn't bother to read a post. I explained to you how a young member of this forum is at risk of being deployed bc of Trump's reckless, erratic, foolish antics. But why should you care? It's ppl young enough to be your grandchildren who will risk their lives while you play online.

Great. Please pray for Go Braves & all the other young ppl who enlisted out of honour for their country to serve it but are at risk of being deployed bc of Trump's mess. Please pray for Trump who thinks it's totes adorbs to threaten an international war crime via Twitter in between his rounds of golf.
