We could use a populist cable news station because frankly both cnn (and co.) and Fox mostly focus on the big kahunas in DC. We need to know what they are doing so yeh.. not complaining but it would be nice if We the People had a cable news show, where the talk is mostly about We the People.. and the struggles we have living w/ policies made by the aforementioned big kahunas so called.
I never hear stories about the misery inflicted on the "sheeple" by bad policy in govt. We only hear about how policy affects the big kahunas.. you know, people everyone "knows"..
More (every day) people suffer from this... than you know about. And you don't know about it because the news people do not focus on it. I will give credit to Tucker Carlson, though, who had a show last night about the hardships of those who are addicted to alcohol or drugs. Suzanne Sommers' story really hit home for me because she had been told by her father she was worthless or something to that effect.. I didn't have that exact problem but was given some very UNHEALTHY messages about myself from my parents... (so, now that i think about it, maybe it was the same thing.. yeh, it was.. maybe I am still a little in denial...)
anyway, yeh, we could use more of these stories, except that I would like to hear not from Hollywood folks like Ms Sommers but from every day people..
