I am looking for christian friends to learn and discuss about God. I am fairly new to christianity and I want to learn more. I don't have a lot of christian friends.

I'm not real experienced with this sort of thing, but like Widlast said, basically every single church has a youth group.

If you live anywhere near a college, go looking for campus ministries too. They're meant for college students, but I'm sure they'd take anybody in our age group. Campus ministries tend to have a very laid-back atmosphere that should make it much easier to make friends, and they tend to use their buildings like clubhouses/frat-houses.

It sounds like you came to the right place! Do you belong to a church? Most of them have young adult groups.

As the others have said, I highly suggest attending to a church if you are not a part of one and go to their youth groups. While I myself struggle with making friends, I can say I have made at least two to three good friends in my time there. It is worth it, and they can really offer guidance in your walk with the Lord.

everyone here seems to think that most churches have youth groups. I don't know where they live, but this has not been my experience. A church I went to before I moved had a large youth group, and we were known for it. Most churches struggle to get young people. While searching for a new church to call home, I visited quite a few where I was the only person in or close to my age bracket. The only other "young" people were 5 and under.

Some but not all churches has a group or ministry that will attend to the needs of new Christians, though that would depend on how long the church exist, for some they are new and are starting to build their ministry, but others do exist for some time and may have a ministry that will fit you in. pray that God will lead into a church that you will grow and know Him more.

I'm making an ebook, I'd love to hear your input. Will you share your ideas? You click on the link below...

One thing I learned I found a church locally they have a website and they have a whole tons of different types of meetings you can book with other fellow Christians. I can go to a coffee shop and we all talk and read about Jesus. I can go to different places. The cool thing is they even have a mix of people from other churches coming to the meeting anyone can join so its pretty cool i can meet and greet different people. So look into your churches near by see if they have meetings you can attend womans meeting whatever. Be updated on church events and missions they do that you can participate in. if your in school look into seeing if there is any christian clubs. & maybe join any christian forums on Facebook for your home town. Maybe you can find someone near you that you can bible study with

Hey guys! I have a long rough history with the church and with life in general.

I strayed away from God for a long time and came back to him probably midsummer of this year. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things but I am having such a hard time. I don't know where to start, where to end and what to put in between.

I used to have a lot of friends in the local and online christian community. But I was hurt by the leaders that I looked up to most. So I blocked everyone out. EVERYONE. And I'm starting fresh. Because I don't know if they will be willing to accept me again.

I was praying to God about finding Christian friends again. And I logged on here just now and found a notification from this thread.

If anyone would be willing to just chat and maybe start an accountability partnership that would be amazing! Thanks for taking the time to read this.

God bless xx

My church doesn’t have a youth group we are kind of a smaller church.
