Am I still in this "coven"? If so, how do I leave?

From a Christian perspective if you are no longer associating with a previous religious group, then no you aren't part of it.

I am a very young person who has recently discovered my faith. I willingly joined a Coven a few months ago. Now, I don't know if I'll ever get out.

I made a terrible mistake a while ago. I was ignorant to my foolish consequences that would damn me to eternal suffering. My close friend introduced me to Pagan candle rituals. Which is also known as witchcraft. I was intrigued by their new beliefs. A group of witches is known as a Coven. My friend urged me to join their new Coven, and nervous that declining would make me look like a "wimp" to them, I accepted the invitation. The next day my friend texted me saying they did this candle magic spell to basically set in stone that I am now a witch in their coven. I was a bit mortified to say the least. I spent nights tossing and turning after realizing what I had done. Then he sent me websites about witchcraft. They said they wanted to buy alter candles and do a ritual with me to obtain whatever they wanted. The website was full. of. pentagrams. I am deeply ashamed of what I did. I did two candle spells. A love spell and a luck spell. It honestly sounded extremely childish to me at the time, but now, I know it was a grave sin. After I did the luck spell, I was scared to do another.

A few months later and I am now a Christian girl that loves God. But...
What is going to happen to me?

I'm basically in a cult now. It's set in this candle magic realm that I don't know how to escape. What can I do so that God will accept me again? Do I need to ask this friend to remove me from the coven? Or is it already fated for me to go to Hell? Please, help me. Is this a sin I can never be forgiven for?

Please, if you know anything about this, reply.
Thanks for reading.
Repent and move along. There is no sin that cannot be forgiven by Christ. Paul was a murderer of Christians and referred to himself as the chief of sinners. If Paul's sins were not to great for forgiveness then neither are yours.

Repentance means turning away from your old life (whatever you have been doing), giving your whole life to Christ. If that is done, then start serving Him, sister. You don't need to worry. Bigger is Christ in us, than he of the world (1 John 4:4).

Christ love,
Peter

Your predicament is easy to solve,if you want to solve it. Get rid of those friends to start. No real Christian hangs out with witches and practices witchcraft. The fact you claim Christianity and go to some church doesn't make you a Christian. Christians don't hang out with Devil worshipers.

You don't have to ask a witch to remove you from a coven. It's like asking a sexual partner you commit adultery with to let you out of that adulterous relationship. If you stay there you want to. If you don't want to you will get rid of all those friends without asking their permission for anything, including asking their permission to disassociate yourself from their presence.

If you leave and stop practicing witchcraft the problem you asked help with is solved. And if you do that who solved it? You did. You didn't need our help or advice for you to do that. And to make an honest claim to you, the fact you haven't done so makes me skeptical of your professed desire to leave.

If you keep those friends your stated problem will not be solved since they've turned to Satan. Your friendship with them would make you an enemy of God. See James 4:4 and Matthew chapter 7. You have a choice to make. Choose to keep those people as friends or choose God. It's biblically impossible to have both. If you walk away you might become a Christian. But you have to want that. And that involves more than getting out of a witch coven.

God accepts all His children no matter what mischief they get into.
If you are concerned, then you still believe in God, and rejecting
God is the only sin that God does not forgive. All other sins are forgiven
.

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

Revelation 1:5
And from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Matthew 26:28 s
For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

1 Corinthians 6:11
And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Acts 22:16
And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.’

God is only worried about you not trusting in Him. He has no
measure of your sins after you've trusted Him for your salvation.

shucks i rejected God before >< how :(

Set in stone? Nonsense. Other people can't permanently induct you into something evil by doing some ritual without your knowledge or participation, especially when your initial acceptance of the invitation wasn't a fully free act. And even if you really did have things set in a "magic candle realm", nothing is stronger than Christ's ability to break such bonds.

You've made an act of the will to leave whatever involvement you had, and turned your life over to the care of God. Now: stop associating with those people, find a good church (from my signature you can tell which one I'd suggest), and don't be afraid. That witchcraft stuff has no power over you.

I was in a cult before which messed up my life at one stage, but now I'm free. It took a very hard lesson to discover that, but anyway you can get out. They will always tell you the lie that you can't get out when you can by just walking away and renouncing all the things you have done there in the name of Jesus Christ. Simple. No hell and damnation for the repentant.

God has claimed you. You are His now.

All former allegiances are broken. You may now walk in the spirit of freedom and forgiveness.

Your exposure was brief, ... so there may be no ill effects to deal with, but if things come up, ... claim aloud that you are a child of the Most High God ... through the power of the blood of His Son Jesus Christ ... and that, in His name, command any evil spiritual influence which may remain to leave you, and never return.

You may have to persist in this for some time ... before you are completely left alone.

Similarly, cut off all interactions with friends who may still be involved. Get involved in a church ... and seek out local assistance in freeing oneself from evil spiritual influence. The Catholic church is especially well-versed in this.

Live moment to moment in the presence of the Lord. Confide in Him as you would a close friend ... telling Him all of your doubts, fears, hopes, dreams, etc.

Fill your living space with favorite Bible verses ... perhaps the ones that brought you to belief ... and find Christian music to play 24/7 wherever you go.

Be blessed ... and go with our prayers ...

I hope all of these responses bring you peace of mind. They are absolutely true! There is also this book called "Freedom in Christ" where it helps you renounce any of those sort of things you used to be associated with before becoming a Christian. It really gave me peace of mind when I went through it. God bless you, and welcome to the family of Christ. Remember that no one can ever separate you from the love of God. :) Merry Christmas!

Turn around and walk away from the coven, and everyone associated with it. Don't look back.

Turn to God, and give Him your undivided attention and focus.

Are you involved with a church?
Better yet, round up the local villagers and burn the coven at the stake.

Just kidding.

Go to confession and receive your penance

God's way bigger than all that nonsense-and we all have to go through foolishness in order to gain some wisdom from it later-none of us start out with all the knowledge we need or we wouldn't need revelation from God to begin with. Never become defined by your past-that's satan's game -but life is a journey upwards if we get on the path, a journey towards the perfection God created us for. Just ask, seek, and knock-trust God; He'll never turn you down; He'll always give you a way.

Thank you so much. I have not been participating in it or engaging in talking about it for months now. I still have one question though. Am I still in this "coven"? If so, how do I leave?
You repented, so you left long ago. What you area experiencing now is Satan's deception. He is making you think you are still in darkness when you are actually in the Light. Once you rebuke his attempts, he can touch you no more.
Remember this....

1 John 4:18 “Perfect Love Casts Out All Fear”
God is love. Perfect love. And the closer we come to him, the less power fear has over us, because we feel God's continual presence-his strength, his comfort, and his guidance.

Here is a prayer you can pray covering a broad spectrum to renounce the occult.

Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sought supernatural help apart from You. I have disobeyed Your word. I want You to help me renounce all these things and cleanse me in my body, soul and spirit. In the name of Jesus Christ, I renounce witchcraft and magic, both black and white I renounce ouija boards and all other occult games. I renounce séance, clairvoyance and mediums. I renounce ESP, second sight and mind reading

I renounce all forms of fortune telling, palm reading, Tealeaf reading, crystal balls, Tarot and card laying. I renounce all astrology and interest in horoscopes. I renounce the heresy of reincarnation and all healing groups involved in metaphysics and any interest in it. I renounce hypnosis under any excuse or authority. I renounce all curiosity about the future or past and anything, which is outside Your will. I renounce water witching or dowsing, levitation and body lifting, table tipping, psychommetry and automaticwriting. I renounce astral projection and all demonic skills. I renounce all literature I’ve ever read in any of these fields, and will seek to destroy all books I possess. I renounce every cult that denies the blood of Christ. I renounce every philosophy that denies Christ’s deity. I renounce and forsake all involvement in Covens and Freemasonry or any other lodge or craft by my ancestors and myself. I renounce the idolatry, blasphemy, secrecy, curses, and deception of Masonry at every level and degree. In the name of Jesus Christ, I break any curse placed on me from any occult source. I now break all psychic heredity. I also break all bonds of physical and mental illness. I also break all demonic subjection to any human being whether living or dead. I now call upon You, Lord, to set me free, in my spirit, my soul and my body in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen

You need to arm yourself with the word of God. Read it. Learn it. Memorize it.

Here are two that will help you...

2 Co 5:17
17 Therefore, if anyone (that means YOU) is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW.

What ever you have done is passed and under the blood of Messiah Jesus. Don't let the Enemy tell you anything different. He is LIAR!

Eph 6:14–17

14 Stand therefore, girding your waist with truth, and putting on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and binding shoes under your feet with the preparation of the good news of peace, 16 in everything taking up the shield of faith, with which you are able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one, 17 and receive the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,

Walk away.

They have no power over you except that which you cede to them.

They have no power over you except that which you cede to them.

I was in a cult for about a year after I became a believer. I didn't realize it was a cult until one morning during communion I heard the "pastor" say, "We are now becoming little Christs by partaking the body anf blood of Christ into us." I knew that was incorrect and asked him about it after the service and sure enough that guy assured me what he said is true and that's what they believe and that's what they teach.

So I went home and read my Bible and prayed.

And didn't go back.

And the day after the first Sunday I missed a group from that congregation showed up at my door and tried to persuade me to return. The next day more showed up. The day after that and the next day and the next day and every day for three weeks some group of people from that group showed up at my house to tell me I was going to hell because I had left the fold. They were the true believers and I needed to be with them.

True story.

Wlak away.

Walk away and stay away and hold your ground. Find a healthy body of believers and ask for their help in prayer.

Stronger is He that is in us than he that is in the world. You are a an adopted daughter of the Most High God, purchased by the blood of the resurrected Son, the Lord of all Lords and King of all Kings, the Great High Priest and you are a royal priest in his temple, a daughter chosen by God Himself as a member of His holy nation.

This is Whose you are, findingthelord.

This is who you are.

In Isaiah 54 God spoke to the Jews to affirm their place as His holy people,

Isaiah 54:14-17
"'In righteousness you will be established; You will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; And from terror, for it will not come near you. If anyone fiercely assails you it will not be from Me. Whoever assails you will fall because of you. "Behold, I Myself have created the smith who blows the fire of coals And brings out a weapon for its work; And I have created the destroyer to ruin. No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their vindication is from Me,' declares the LORD."

You're young in the faith but this is who you have been made to be in Christ and although it will take time to mature and fully inhabit the promises and inheritance that is ours in Christ; you are His. No one can wrest you from the hand of the almighty hand of God.
