As we pray for the nation of Israel and her neighbours our prayers can delay a certain major war against Israel and this can delay and delay and delay the rise of the anti-Christ. I do believe this idea that our prayers have far more power and authority than we tend to imagine.
God does not consult with humans over His plans and never changes a thing under the magical spell of people praying. But,
if you have full faith God will inform you that the situation has already been handled by Him
before you were born.
Isaiah 40:13-14
Who has measured the Spirit of the Lord, or what man shows him his counsel? Whom did he consult, and who made him understand? Who taught him the path of justice, and taught him knowledge, and showed him the way of understanding?
Psalm 147:5
