What a PRECIOUS thing God has done for us. He HIMSELF, through His Son, CAME to be born and to die FOR us.
For God to do this, to SACRIFICE Himself this way, is beyond comprehension.
How precious that He chose a virgin named Mary to carry His only begotten Son. Both Mary and Joseph were mightily blessed and chosen by God Himself. Their reactions to this unprecedented and downright dangerous task spoke of WHY He chose them. When we speak of those in the Bible who were humble, both Mary and Joseph are overlooked mostly, but both were two of the most humble, God-fearing and thus obedient of all of God's servants. And lest we forget, they were courageous, and this is because they "feared the Lord".
What gloriously blessed parents God chose for His only begotten Son to be entrusted to.
