Trump Blasts Christian Magazine that Called for His Removal
President Donald Trump is blasting a prominent Christian magazine that published an editorial arguing that he should be removed from office.

Trump tweeted that the magazine, Christianity Today, an evangelical magazine founded by the late Rev. Billy Graham, is a “far left“ publication, which “has been doing poorly and hasn’t been involved with the Billy Graham family for many years.”

He adds that it “knows nothing about reading a perfect transcript of a routine phone call,” a reference to his July call with the president of Ukraine that led to his impeachment. Trump claims the magazine would rather have “a Radical Left nonbeliever, who wants to take your religion & your guns, than Donald Trump as your President.”

In the editorial, titled, “Trump Should Be Removed from Office,” the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Mark Galli, writes that, “Democrats have had it out for” Trump “from day one.” But he says that, “the facts in this instance are unambiguous: The president of the United States attempted to use his political power to coerce a foreign leader to harass and discredit one of the president’s political opponents. That is not only a violation of the Constitution; more importantly, it is profoundly immoral.”

He goes on to write that, whether Trump should be removed by the Senate or by popular vote in the 2020 election “is a matter of prudential judgment.” But, he says: “That he should be removed, we believe, is not a matter of partisan loyalties but loyalty to the Creator of the Ten Commandments.”

Maybe things like this were created and released with help from his own handlers (in secret) to keep him tweeting and obsessing at a minimal damage rate focused on certain lesser publications and people before Christmas so he doesn't spend his time really messing up going off on bigger things. Think of it as "busywork" for him and like a secret Santa gift to the GOP or American people. *I'm joking in speculation; like 55%.*

My self I went to the editor himself and said it to him. I agree with Trump. To many run with what the left says because of some dislike of Trump. Where one to be fair and honest has to look at all sides. The old saying " you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink"

In all fairness it was not the MAG but the editor. All that all that work there agree with what was posted. And he is free to make his own choice. There is no weight to his personal feelings.

We are the body of Christ and don't have to agree with Trump or anyone there. We are to be praying for him and all there. I choose to obey Christ. And TRY "Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear." <-- this is what I try to do.

We need not say a word. But in our heart if we agree.. then to God it as as if we said it our selfs.

While you are watching, so is the founders son. (snip)
uhmmm...why would anyone care what Franklin Graham thinks his father would think? He's tied his dinghy to President Trumps boat, so if that boat goes down he's going down with it.

It means the ballot-machine rigging will have to be more obvious.

Fortunately for Trump and his minons...

WASHINGTON (CN) – When Congress returns from recess in September, a bitter battle to pass legislation securing national elections will unfold. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell offered a preview of what’s to come in a fiery defense of his leadership from the Senate floor.

In a 30-minute speech Monday, the Kentucky Republican appeared to lose his cool as he railed against the contents of an op-ed published in the Washington Post by columnist Dana Milbank.

The column was far from kind to McConnell – it dubbed him a “Russian asset” due to his routine obstruction of election security legislation led by Demcorats. Milbank also asserted the longtime majority leader was “unpatriotic” and unmovable in the face of numerous warnings from authorities – including those in the Trump administration – that the threat posed to U.S. election systems is pervasive and ongoing.
McConnell Under Fire for Blocking Election Security Bills

While 75% of the proven voting fraud in 2016 were illegal votes for Trump, there really wasn't much of it. McConnell successfully defeated a bill that would have made it much harder to rig ballots for Trump, as our intelligence agencies have found Putin is planning to do.

In 2020, a crude lunge into dictatorship would still be shocking, even given the president’s violation of political norms. But there remains a different, chillingly realistic avenue for a constitutional crisis the next time around. Just look at the Senate Intelligence Committee’s report on Russian threats to the election apparatus and, even more crucially, at the Republican Party’s response.

Of all the institutions and norms of American government, none is more rickety than the voting process. The system’s legitimacy hangs on the public’s willingness to trust the accuracy of a system that is hardly a system at all. There’s the hodgepodge design: The kind of machine used to count votes differs not only among states but within them. Then there are the hurdles politicians (mostly, though not all, Republicans) create in order to make voting intentionally difficult. The existence of the Electoral College compounds the problem by increasing the probability that a small number of ballots will determine the outcome. (A “close” national election is one decided by several hundred thousand votes, still orders of magnitude larger than the several hundred votes that swung Florida in 2000.)

The Senate report notes that while Russians did not breach voting machines in 2016, they scoped out the defenses in all 50 states. One expert told the committee that Russia was “conducting the reconnaissance to do the network mapping, to do the topology mapping, so that you could actually understand the network, establish a presence, so you could come back later and actually execute an operation.” The scariest aspect of the report is not necessarily the facts it reveals. There aren’t many of them: Disconcertingly large blocks of text are redacted, apparently to keep the liabilities they reveal from those who would exploit them.

Let me tell you something pretty much all grandparents know: "Grandkids outrank children":
Let Billy Graham’s Legacy Speak for Itself – Red Letter Christians
I am aware that others have spoken about my grandfather and some have even spoken for him. I believe strongly that my grandfather’s ministry that spanned decades, along with his character and actions speak for themselves. I believe that assigning feelings to a man who is not here to agree or disagree with those assignments is dangerous.
to which I say, amen.

interesting the Billy Graham was one of the 63,000,000 deplorables ( as they were called),

I’ll stay with fact over opinion

Good article, but with one serious error.

Billy Graham did not get the Congressional Medal of Honor. He received the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

The Congressional Medal of Honor is awarded only to the military. It is the highest medal awarded to members of the military.

Dobson to Christianity Today: Who do YOU want as president? - WND

Seems like there are others that agree with Franklin Graham
Got anyone who hasn't tied himself to President Trump? You know, someone who doesn't have a vested interest in making sure that if President Trump is held accountable for what he does they aren't taken down with him for pronouncing him "Gods born-again leader of America!" like he did in 2016? James Dobson: Trump recently accepted 'a relationship with Christ'
However, Dobson, a Christian psychologist and founder of the Focus on the Family group, said he knows “the person who led [Trump] to Christ. And that’s fairly recent.”

“I don’t know when it was, but it has not been long,” Dobson said in an interview with Pennsylvania megachurch pastor Michael Anthony following that meeting in New York. “I believe he really made a commitment, but he’s a baby Christian.”

Got anyone who hasn't tied himself to President Trump?

You mean like Billy Graham, the founder of Christianity Today?

But as the article asks - I would kindly ask you the same -

Who would you have in his stead?

thank you for your opinion. (snip)
you're very welcome. And I'll stick with people who haven't subverted every single thing they ever claimed to believe in order to support President Trump.

interesting the Billy Graham was one of the 63,000,000 deplorables ( as they were called),
So...the guy who's tied himself to President Trump claims that his daddy voted for President Trump? Did you notice this particular part in the link I posted:
For years before that (including during the 2016 election), he was bedridden and suffering from hydrocephalus. Our visits consisted of quietly sitting with him holding his hand while he lay in bed. On the occasion I would find him awake, he would smile, say hello, squeeze my hand, and always tell me he loved me before falling back into a peaceful sleep.
Which sort of leads ME to believe she's saying he didn't actually vote in 2016. In spite of what Mr Graham claims about him voting for someone who was the complete opposite of everything Billy Graham ever believed, preached or stood for. :sorry:

I’ll stay with fact over opinion
...then shouldn't you post them? So far all I've seen are opinions and "cool story bro'" being offered.
