When Trump got elected I thought "Let them have their gorge on the American people's dollars. It will come back to the workers after they fill their pockets." I still try to refer to him as "President Trump" or The President" out of respect for the office. No matter how badly they abuse that office, basically we put him there America.

We still have a Supreme Court and a constitution. My personal issue with The President is that he is taking a special land reserve in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and is selling it out to mining. Virtually taking a Pristine untouched ecosystem and turning into a gravel pit. That one gives me ulcers because people come from all over the world to canoe the boundary waters and a whole section on the state is where people go for outdoor recreation.

the supreme court that trump has stacked with all his cronies.

What an arrogant, pathetic excuse of a man. It saddens me, as an evangelical Christian, that so many of his evangelical supporters will refuse to see the writing on the wall, and keep on supporting him.

You know, like Erick Erickson, who outright said on Twitter that Trump's comments about Dingell were unjustifiable and wrong. However, he has previously endorsed him for the 2020 election, and hasn't retracted that.

I hope this picture is a fake . Trump was way to disrespectful to John McCain to be allowed , stand around his grave. Very sickening.

They see the writing but will continue to support him as long as he keeps pressing their hot buttons: abortion, LGBTs, gun control and immigration.

Today, telling someone murder is wrong is elitist.

Yeah. lol Okay.

But, they also choose to ignore a myriad of things Trump did, does and likely will do - for whatever reason - despite the mound of evidence and access to resources to discover these things. That makes them ignorant. If you are a Trump supporter, and you never knew about his racist, sexist, chauvinistic behavior and practices, then you are being ignorant. Why? Because even as an opposition argument, these things have been brought up on almost every single vector possible.

People chose to ignore.

Actually, people aren't choosing to ignore anything. They have a choice. Choose a party that ignores them, calls them names, labels them, and uses stereotypes to dehumanize them - or pick Trump with all the labels thrown on him, and does things that supports what they need. It's not that difficult.

Just because people don't agree to go against him due to your POV or others doesn't make them ignorant. They have their reasons, and you don't want to hear them. I told you what I have read and heard...and you blew them off.

Your the one ignoring here.

I told you I wasn't a Trump supporter, and your wagging your finger at me. (Shrugs)

But you chose to ignore these:

An Oral History of Trump’s Bigotry

Donald Trump’s long history of racism, from the 1970s to 2019

Trump Will Not Apologize for Calling for Death Penalty Over Central Park Five

Transcript: Donald Trump’s Taped Comments About Women

A Timeline of Donald Trump's Creepiness While He Owned Miss Universe

to justify your argument.

Projection only goes so far.

He's probably going to get one or two more in there before leaving office.

Going to help us for many years to come.

It is possible that it was the Dingell remark that was "the straw that broke the camel's back" for Christianity Today to issue an editorial today calling for the President to be removed from office.

A position they probably should have taken 17,592 straws ago...
Oh, well... better late than never.

The fun part now is going to be watching Donald's followers blast Christianity Today as the MSM, the "lying press," or of course, "enemy of the American people..."

More thoughts:
On the day Donald Trump became the third president in American history to be impeached, he deliberately and gratuitously inflicted pain upon the family of John Dingell, who earned his place in American history by holding the record as the longest-ever serving member of Congress. Dingell represented Michigan for more than 59 years, and received nearly 70% of the vote during his last election. He was beloved, and he was mourned. Many people, regardless as to whether their political perspectives were in harmony with his respected him for his devotion to his country. His life was defined by service to it.

Trump won Michigan's electoral college votes with a minuscule 0.23% margin over Hillary Clinton in 2016. His net approval rating in the state has faltered. And Trump, at a Merry Christmas rally in Michigan, he called out and insulted the widow of John Dingell. So in addition to it being astonishing in its cruelty, it's also exceedingly foolish. It's also worth noting that at the same rally he also bizarrely and ineptly complained about dishwashers and lightbulbs, among a litany of rants.

Trump is a pretty disgusting human being.

He called Republicans who didn't want to enable his wrongful actions human scum. He's the king of projection. What he says about others is true of himself.

Defending what is indefensible like his cruelty towards that man's family, that is disgusting.

Good point. On top of it being nasty as all get out it was all foolish of Donald.

I think that the President might have to forget Michigan's electoral votes in 2020, unless he can pull a rabbit out of his political hat and I guess such is possible.

God will decide and judge who's associated with the Christian faith NOT YOU. You might want to be careful as defining by name who you think is a Christian and who isn't. You don't know the heart of the man.....even 1 Cor 3 :1-3 states some Christians were in a babyhood state in their relationship with God and they were even judged as being carnal but it never stated they weren't Christians. God knows men's heart. I do know Trump has been praying with believers and perhaps a spark has been ignited within him. My point is you don't know for a fact that's not the case.
But what do two Corinthians say?
