is there such a thing as a deeper life in Christ more communion and intimacy and life in Him that there is like a deeper well we can drink from him, him as being the living waters. It just had moments and experiences where it feels like the Lord is leading deeper in love with him... I seen books and stuff about the “deeper life” or you know what I mean?
Thoughts and insights into this ?

The Ekklesia (believers) in the New Testament lived daily and walked in union with the son and with His Father Yahweh The Almighty Creator Sovereign Elohim.

Nothing gets better than that !

Calling it "deeper life" might be too humanistic, or some other "-ism" or such.

A "spiritual life" is a spiritual life - as written all through Scripture (mostly important in New Testament probably, but not without all of Scripture) .

A fleshly , carnal life, is described in Scripture, and is not something to seek nor to stay in.

Yes of course.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

However, many, including Christians, fear their own truth.
Truth will expose you, and fear of that exposure will make you feel vulnerable to judgement, rejection, segregation, abandonment, and annihilation. Unless you are prepared to lose everything for Everything in Christ.

Though it's not popular today, repentance after salvation is in order. (Rev 2: to the Ephesus church and the Thyatira's church and Rev 3 to the church in Sardis) and forgiving (Eph 4:32)

Then taking the time for praise and worship to an audience of one, our Savior and Lord (Matt 6:6) Praise is more "about" God while worship is " to" Him.

Yes there is a deeper life, and as has been said - it is not heard much these days. But at one time it was written about and preached extensively like during true revival times.

It is basically about applying crucifixion of the old man (Romans 6) and not in mental assent alone. It is being willing to give all to Christ and do whatever He wants.

This is a sacrifice but worth it to have the presence of God with us and to hear Him speaking to us personally. It is wonderful to hear Him say 'well done thou good and faithful servant'.

Many will deny this state but that is just because they have not been willing enough to give themselves fully.

ok I thought there could be a deeper life in him.. a couple times I had those moments in my spirit where the Holy Spirit was like enlightening my Spirit and like leading me deeper I’m not sure how to explain it but it just felt like there was so much more ahead to walk with him and from then on I wanted to give my all to him.. but I am in need of his leading...I’m not sure who else had this experience but I’m sure the Lord does this for all his children calling us more closer and near to him

Yes Holy_joe l think He does but most get to the point where He convicts them of their sin and instead of repentance, the response is 'it is the devil as l am washed in the blood' and many on these type of forums will back this attitude and therefore grieve the Spirit.

If you are willing the Lord will guide you.

Hello Holy_Joel, Thank you for sharing your thoughts and concerns with us. These forums are great for sharing our concerns about faith and try to have a deeper relationship with God. The word communion means common union with Jesus. If you would like to go in a deeper relationship with our Lord. I encourage you to start reading the most important book, the Bible and read the New Testament especially the Gospel of Saint Mark. In that way you could know better Our Lord Jesus, how does He feels, how does He thinks and how does He acts. Spiritual life starts for getting the virtue of humility. I encourage you to pray with all your heart, that can give you this gift. Getting humility allows us to grow in other virtues, such as faith, hope and charity. St Paul says the charity is biggest virtue of all. (1 Cor 13) He also says that we have to put our faith in to practice. (1 Cor 9,16) That would allow us to be closer to God because we are doing that please Him. On the other hand, discerning what is Will of God in our lives allow us to have a deeper relationship with Him. The same Jesus says in the Gospel: “My food is to do the will of the one who sent me and to finish his work (Jn 4,34)” Perhaps, have you thought of seeking to attend to Spiritual Retreats in your area? I hope this helps. Sending you hugs. I will keep you in my prayers my friend.
