The new poll released today finds a deep divide between Catholics who are active in the practice of the Faith and those who are not.

And yet most polls will not distinguish this huge gap in how two types of Catholics believe or act. You got Catholics in name only (CINO) and practicing Catholics. We don't have much in common.

I kind of resent that it came down to polling about Trump vs the Democrats. No Catholic should vote for anyone who upholds the Democratic Party platform. That platform is immoral. That said, I don't see any compelling reason to vote for Trump as an alternative to the Democrats. But we seem to be either Trumpists or Democrats. That's totally inadequate.

It's not surprising. When you have the major news sources all owned by the Democrats, that puts the Democratic point of view in the homes of Catholics 7 days a week.

Even still their ratings are falling like a brick while Fox News' ratings soar. But your point still stands.

I used to be a democrat because I was raised in a family of hardcore democrats. But, I've changed since then and I'm now "independent", leaning toward republican. I just can't get past the democrats actions regarding abortion/infanticide and their push of the LBTQ agenda.
Looks to me like the more people quit going to church, the more liberal their political views are.
