A well-known Christian academic and former homosexual says that he was fired as a professor from a Southern Baptist seminary because he expressed the truth about homosexuals.

Dr. Robert Oscar Lopez, 48, who grew up in a lesbian household and formally expressed himself as a homosexual man, was dismissed from his position at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary because he refused to stay silent on two topics: the possibility of people leaving homosexuality through the help of both God and neighbor, and the abuse rampant in the homosexual community.

Yes they did. I had heard about this on the radio before I ran across this article. They even have recorded conversations of when he was fired.

I think we will find that almost everybody is caving in before the juggernaut. So, not too surprised. Sadly. It's not just the Catholic Church that is under pressure.

Didn't Sister Lucia say that the final attack of Satan would be against the family? And how God has planned for men and women to live? This is crazy, and sad. Lord, have mercy. I keep saying that all of us are going to be worshipping at home, soon. I know so many posters on CF who already do that. Looking at how many Protestant denominations no longer teach what Scripture clearly says about these matters, it's not shocking. Where else would they go, if they're looking for something Sola Scriptura? Wow...

That's unfortunate. I don't agree with their all doctrines but in the past when it came to moral issues, they were usually spot on and I respected the fact that they upheld their beliefs regardless of the opposition against them.
