Can Satan place the Mark of the Beast on a believer

It is driving crazy that I think that I have the mark of the beast. My pastor and people around see Jesus and his Holy Spirit. I keep checking my forehead and and stomach I saw 666 appear in a hallucination and I got tricked by Satan now he claims he is in my brain. I don't understand how it happened it came so fast I saw a yellow cross and bowed before and now Satan tell me he was masquerading and that I blasphemed the Holy Spirit. I want to be a pastor for Jesus like Billy Graham but now I got an evil spirit. I fear that I lost the Holy Spirit in that hallucination. I fear Satan is telling truth and it disturbs can you get tricked into the mark of the beast from a hallucination. I believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again 3 days later and conquered Satan. I don't want to give Satan anymore glory and hopefully the medicine works people see Jesus in me. I know that the Holy Spirit sealed me until the day of redemption but my brain is scrambled right now thinking I took the mark of the beast placed on in the hallucination blaspheming the Holy Spirit in the process I thought you had be verbal about it says no one who speaks against the Holy Spirit not hallucination. Did I blaspheme my lord and savior Jesus Christ and become the false prophet in the hallucination I thought the rapture happened first and it hasn't I had anti-christ hallucations and satan claims he 4d chessed my mind in taking his mark I can still serve Jesus right? I am so alarmed spiritually that I took 666 on accident becoming the antichrist or false prophet and I don't want to be. I love Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit the holy trinity will God rapture me I am so frightned by all this satanic stuff I asked Jesus in my heart at 4 and recently recommitted my life to him am I saved or am I the false prophet from Revelation 13. I trusted Jesus with my sins and people see Jesus in me. I am so ashamed and remorseful of my action.

You really do need to get delivered from those evil spirits that torment you.

To be mentally ill is a heavy burden to carry and for that we don't have to feel ashamed or guilty. i advise you to get the truth of scripture into you so that it can protect you from your renegade thoughts. Don't trust what your thoughts tell you, only trust what God tells you in His loving truth. i have found scripture read in the spirit of love most helpful stabilising my ill mind.

Be of good courage God loves you to get His help and support in your battle with the wicked.

The mark of the beast is a name. Most people don't even read the text before making grandiose statements about what this means (microchips! Social Security Number! GameStop ID! Driver's License!)

"Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666."

This was always intended to help those in THAT time who were reading this book, to figure out what specific person he was referring to in the prophecy. Clearly, it wasn't the name of a person who would come 2000 years later after the language the book was written in would no longer be in use.

The Bible was not written yesterday and it wasn't written in English.

Your pastor ought to be ashamed of himself for causing you so much anxiety. You however need to take responsibility for studying your own Bible and testing the truth of those who claim to be teaching you.

I don't like this feeling the enemy is making me feel like I really did blaspheme the Holy Spirit I feel empty on the inside and I am concerned I know it is my mental condition because people see Jesus and they would know if it was Satan. The Holy Spirit bears witness I am just concerned and heartbroken that I feel like the false prophet this physocosis is a challenge to me.

It's a bit early now but ring them as soon as you can. If you tell me whereabouts you are, I may be able to find someone closer.

Well, Christianity was never based on feelings, it was based on knowledge and truth. People may claim to see Jesus but you have to judge based on your knowledge of the scriptures whether or not they are simply manipulating your emotions (and their own) or are speaking the truth. Your confidence will come from the knowledge you find in the scriptures, not your feelings. That "the Holy Spirit bears witness with your spirit" does not mean that you will hear special revelation, it just means that your own spirit will be in agreement with the Holy Spirit in what it witnesses.

God wants you to know whether or not you're in right relationship with him and that knowledge comes from his word. You don't simply feel things and use that as the litmus test for your goodness. Lots of people feel great about their bad behaviors. It means nothing that they do. The error or truth of a person's actions is the test of righteousness, not how one feels about it.

So it is very possible that it is just my illness playing tricks on me and that Satan is using my scitzoeffetive and scrupolisty against me. He keeps telling me I am the false prophet due to hallucations but there not real it was a nightmere state of reality that I could not control. Satan keeps telling since I kneeled I blasphmed but I couldn't control my body even Charles Stanley would have messed. I believe in Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit and I recommitted my life before the physcosis is the holy spirit going to rapture me could you lose him in a hallucations. I have such a repente heart that wants forgiveness from the Holy Spirit. I didn't speak against the Holy Spirit. I had a hallucation where the Yellow Cross may have and I wasn't listening if Satan was truly in it would that have been blasphemy since I bowed my head was mixed up thought I saw Jesus. Pastor Mark said I haven't blasphmed and that it is like a cold and that God won't hold me accountable for my actions or kick me out of heaven could it be a tactile halluction of 666.

Are you sure that's Satan talking? It could be your own mind. We are responsible for our own thoughts. Because we have free will and Jesus has already conquered Satan, I personally don't believe that Satan can put thoughts in our head. We might think things that Satan would approve of, but it is up to us to reject those thoughts. We have that power.

God wants you to control your own mind. He wouldn't command it if it weren't possible.

"Therefore I urge you, brothers, on account of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God."

It's a daily process. Continue to renew your mind and make it fresh, driving out those thoughts which cause you to lack confidence in what you know is the truth.

It was a real thing. A certificate that said you had offered a sacrifice to the Emperor in the temple built to glorify him. Without it, you couldn't get access to the public marketplace to buy food. The warning was for those churches in Asia who were subject to this decree.

So since I am not willing to take the Mark of the Beast it is just mental illness it is just a hallucations making me think I have the mark I wasn't willing I love Jesus.

I believe Jesus word since it is truth and I know my name is in the book of life I asked him in my heart. I didn't mean to fall God knows everyone keeps telling me that to relax it is not a spiritual issue but mental issue the Holy Spirit wouldn't leave due to hallucations as you stated nothing can pluck me from his hand.

Sportsfan, our mental illnesses are not demons. They are illnesses, caused by physical and chemical issues in our brains. Can you get help for your OCD (and other disorders)? A lot of people with OCD have similar obsessions, and it's possible to get out of this obsessive cycle and not be controlled so much by your thoughts. Please don't listen to well-meaning Christians who tell you that it's Satan/demons out to get you. I believe Satan can use our weaknesses against us, but I don't believe mental disorders are demonic any more than I believe that diabetes or heart disease are demonic. The best thing you can do is to learn how to treat your OCD in a healthy way, with proven therapy strategies. I can recommend some resources if you like.
