Deaar Smithy: You are correct. The Father of all father's does nothing mindless. Punishment has a conclusion, the peaceable fruits of righteousness, change & transformation.

Again, you show your lack of knowledge on who God is.

He is eternal, therefore His actions are eternal. So His judgement is eternal. And it plainly states, eternal punishment. There is no second chance after you die. Once you die, then Christ and judgment.

Dear Smithy:

There is one (1) passage of Canon for “everlasting punishment” (Matt.25). This one single verse is the cornerstone for the proponents of unending punishment.

According to the context of St. Matthew 25 and ONLY the context, please fill in the empty lines.

The foundation for “everlasting punishment” Matt. 25=

1.________________________________________?

2.________________________________________?

3.________________________________________?

4.________________________________________?

5.________________________________________?

Sorry, your incorrect.
The whole chapter is about how we are to serve God, What we are to do and the consequences of not doing them.

10 Virgins. 1-13.
Christ is the Bridegroom, who celebrates his nuptials with his bride the Church, and comes to conduct her to heaven; those who are ready will accompany him and enter into the joy of their Lord; those who have not made their calling sure will be shut out. Eternal punishment. One day without God is one day to many.

This also about us waiting on the Lord, being patient, knowing He will come as He said He would. To let His light shine through us and spread the Gospel. To do the works of faith we are to do after salvation leaning on Him. Not wasting time. But continuing in His work. When that time comes, He will take us home. Those who didn't do these things, waste away or sell the oil, are those who reject Him. Not having the patience and waiting on the Lord's return. Continuing the work that He has begun. Therefore, they are shut out, left behind, without God. Eternally.

It is a warning also, to be alert, for no one knows the day or the hour of His coming. Only God, knows this. So be ready, in season and out of season.

8 Talents 14-30
Really it's 8 Talents. He gives one 5, another 2 and the last 1.
This is about being diligent and going out and doing the work we are to do for the Lost. We are given eternal life from Christ as a gift and reward for repenting of our sins and denying ourselves. Picking up that cross and spreading the Gospel. The one with 5, invested what he was given. Just as we should with what God has given us. We aught to invest our time, spreading the Gospel, with the Holy Spirit bring about conviction for the conversion of the lost. The one with 2 did the same, We aught to go about continuing the work that Christ laid down before us. So that there would be more to go down the strait and narrow way.
The last..He rejected the master. Being lazy and didn't think of others as he should have. He turned to His own understanding instead of trusting the the Master knew what He was doing. And He was cast out and thrown into Hell.
Again, no second chances after death. Those who are lost and die in their sins, will be judged by an Eternal God, and will receive eternal punishment.

31-46

Doing works of faith.
We are to love everyone. Help those we can help. Feed those we can feed. Cloth those who need clothing.
We are to have love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control
They are called the fruits of the Spirit.
Those who do not do these things are living in the flesh and reject the commands of God. For the Spirit does not abide with them.
They have not repented of their sins, placed their trust in Christ, recieving the Holy Spirit and being filled by the Spirit.
They are punished for not doing these things. Therefore, eternal punishment.

Not everyone will be saved.
God is love, but He is also righteous and Just. Because He loves us, He must be the other. For it's by His righteousness, we live. And by His Judgment, we learn as we live, due to discipline. And we shot HOLY HOLY IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!!. on that day of judgment. For those of who are Children of God, will receive our Reward, which we have laid up in Heaven. For those who reject Christ, do not repent, and continue to rebel against God, they will receive their just reward also. Eternally.

Dear Smithy: You have evaded filling in the 5 qualifications for "everlasting punishment". When you fill in the qualifications we shall proceed with the pure virgins (10), the Master's servants and the Master's investors.

Dear Rad: Are you suggesting the God of perfect standards is not abiding by His directives to we broken creatres of sin?

There is no reason why the Creator needs to abide by your generalisation of the rules that He gave to the created.

As little children say, you're not the boss of God!

In particular, the enemies of God are evil. Our enemies are just people we don't like. There is no parallel.

You are reciting dogma. The lies we have been told all of our lives.
Our Bible was translated with a Damnationist bias. They even added their slant to the vocabulary tools. It takes a bit of study to find out what happened here. We have found a few scriptures that got past the editors. Check these out. Do they agree or disagree with your view?

1 John 2:2
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

Romans 11:32
For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.

Romans 5:18-19
Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people,
so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.
19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners,
so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

Colossians 1:20
and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

1 Timothy 2:3-4
This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

1 Corinthians 15:22
For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

You make God out to be a merciless tyrant.

If a human had what we call godly characteristics, what would they be?
Could God be anything less?

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Oh but there is.

Matthew 5:43-48
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

No. See, for example, Isaiah 61:8.
You really missed the mark on this one.

The verse you cited says that God will make an everlasting covenant with them despite the fact that they are evil. (robbery and wrongdoing) And the near context amplifies the point. "Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance." - vs 7

Isaiah 61:7-9
Instead of your shame
you will receive a double portion,
and instead of disgrace
you will rejoice in your inheritance.
And so you will inherit a double portion in your land,
and everlasting joy will be yours.
8 “For I, the Lord, love justice;
I hate robbery and wrongdoing.
In my faithfulness I will reward my people
and make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 Their descendants will be known among the nations
and their offspring among the peoples.
All who see them will acknowledge
that they are a people the Lord has blessed.”

Announce Freedom to All Captives

"The Spirit of God, the Master, is on me because God anointed me. He sent me to preach good news to the poor, heal the heartbroken, announce freedom to all captives, pardon all prisoners.

God sent me to announce the year of his grace—a celebration of God’s destruction of our enemies—and to comfort all who mourn, To care for the needs of all who mourn in Zion, give them bouquets of roses instead of ashes, messages of joy instead of news of doom, a praising heart instead of a languid spirit.

Rename them “Oaks of Righteousness” planted by God to display his glory.

They’ll rebuild the old ruins, raise a new city out of the wreckage. They’ll start over on the ruined cities, take the rubble left behind and make it new.

You’ll hire outsiders to herd your flocks and foreigners to work your fields, but you’ll have the title “Priests of God,” honored as ministers of our God. You’ll feast on the bounty of nations, Because you got a double dose of trouble and more than your share of contempt.

Your inheritance in the land will be doubled and your joy go on forever. Because I, God, love fair dealing and hate thievery and I’ll pay your wages on time and in full, and establish my eternal covenant with you.

Your descendants will become well-known all over. Your children in foreign countries will be recognized at once as the people I have blessed.

I'll sing for joy in God, explode in praise from deep in my soul! He dressed me up in a suit of salvation, he outfitted me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom who puts on a tuxedo and a bride a jeweled tiara.

For as the earth bursts with spring wildflowers, and as a garden cascades with blossoms, so the Master, God, brings righteousness into full bloom and puts praise on display before the nations. -The Message-

God's purpose is NOT based in a Heavenly game of chance casino!

There is No 1st chance, no 2nd chance, no 3rd chance, NO CHANCE!

Again, you misrepresent God.

God's patience, unlike ours, is much greater.

God's mercy is everlasting. It's not a game. Never said it was.
Because of His mercy and His grace we are given the opportunity to have eternal life with Him.
And the only way to the Father is through Christ.
He died for our sins, He rose from the dead to show He is God and righteous to forgive us of our sins.
He paid the price.
All we do is surrender. Pick up our cross. Deny ourselves. Walk, live, eat, breath, with our heart, mind and body in the Spirit. The Holy Spirit.

Your right. If i'm understanding your statement rightly.
It was never the intent for God to put any one in Hell. His intent was to have a relationship with us eternally. That's why He hates sin. Because it separates us from Him. Remember: For all have sinned and have fallen short of the Glory of God.

God's grace and love are awesome.
