IMHO, it’s blanket statements like this that will cost the left elections. People just don’t like to be insulted.

He is expected to give press conferences, and he is expected to give answers to questions. The other leaders (and their people) are also watching him, and saying "no comment" all the time, would not do his image any good either. His role involves actively keeping "oil on troubled waters."

I'm born and raised in not-America, not part of the media and I can assure you everyone is laughing at your president. His voters also.

When an individual confronts global corruption one is bound to have enemies. I consider it a badge of honor concerning the parties laughing. Were all having a good laugh, even tho we do not share the same sense of humor. I expect I will be enjoying myself for quite some time to come.

Trump 2020...

You do understand that this money was spent by countries on their own militaries. Yes, stronger militaries make a stronger NATO. However, I don't think that there has been no direct increasing of support to NATO.

NATO certainly isn't strong enough to oppose Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and their continuing war. NATO isn't strong enough to prevent the Turkish invasion of Syria.
