If they give you a chance to review the answers, I don't see how it is cheating.

If you do that, who loses?

Anyone with a living active healthy conscience. (if it is cheating or wrong in any way)

It seems a good healthy working conscience is the reason for the op asking.

If they're making it available when you take the quiz, then I don't see how it would be. The reason to have that though, is to facilitate learning. Do you benefit from having them on that tab as far as learning the material goes?

The test could control for cheating. It's possible that the test examines whether or not you attempted to game the system.

I went to a job interview where applicants were given an electronic test. Some applicants thought they were being clever by discovering a "flaw" in the test when the test was partly intended to monitor that. Needless to say, the cheaters didn't like the outcome.

I think it is good to be able to check your answers, so you can learn; but I think it indeed can be cheating if you then change your answers.

In any case, make sure you learn from your mistakes.

But I think it is good to take the score which comes with your first answers . . . unless your teacher says otherwise. You are being tested about your character and honesty, in any case!

Sounds like a learning tool. Asked a question, you give what you think, then look and see if you are wrong. If you are wrong you then change your answer on the test and, ostensibly in your brain. So no, that's not cheating.

It's brainwashing ;)

If you answered the questions honestly because you had done the background work and knew the answer because of it, then you would not be cheating. But if you answered the questions in the way you described, would that be honest? Your own conscience would answer that one.

You really need to ask your school that, as well as tell them what you've been doing and accept whatever consequences they give you. If you won't even ask it is proof you know you shouldn't be doing it. But if you ask it shows you want to be honest and not sneaky. Though you should have asked before, if you ask now and they should say it is cheating, they are more likely to be lenient with you in whatever discipline they hand out.

Acts 24:14-16: "14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets: 15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust. 16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void to offence toward God, and toward men."

What would it be like to so thoroughly know the subject that the review tabs are unnecessary?

What would you have to do to accomplish that condition?

It's on the honor system. right?

The scripture tells us:

James 4:17 Therefore, right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin.

Read all of James 4...God is awesome.

As the one post says below, it's your conscience, that what knows what you aught to do and what you aught not do.

I would also say this, just you asking the question should make you think....right?

If you are not supposed to look at the answers, even if you are able to do that, and if it affects your grade in the class...

then yes, it is cheating and it is wrong to do.
I am allowed to look at it and its actually suggested that i do look at what i got wrong by my teachers.

Well, if it is the case that these "tests" are more in the nature of exercises or self-quizzes, and there isn't anything like a final grade riding on your answers, I cannot imagine how it could be cheating.
