It's not to late -- you are still breathing.
Repent
Stay in the Word.
Attendance in a strong Church recommended.

Repentance and the confession of sin is explained in this video coming straight from the book of Psalms.
um may i know how i can repent?

 As mentioned here already, it is NEVER EVER "too late". Take the lukewarm-ness to God, Who is gracious, merciful, and forgiving, dear heart. In the meantime, i'm standing-in for you in prayer. God LOVES you. Praying. (((hug)))

um but i find it hard to go to God ><

Many people who rise up out of very difficult circumstances end up with a testimony that has the power to convict and encourage others in a special way.

You definitely can be saved.....
once the blood of Messiah Yeshua covers our sins they actually become a tool to reach others......

Your falling away for a time is not unusual.... lots of us make that error.

Hang in there..... an Awakening is beginning.

um but i fear i might be the person in hebrews 6:4 :(

and also in here: 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

ive done the above unknowingly. i didnt submit to God when He told me to not contact the guy cos he wasnt the one for me. instead i went against God and contacted that guy and idolized him ><

So, you know these things are wrong. Make sure you don't continue in any of these. We can know, from God's word, that no human can give us better than we have with Jesus.

When I have been in trouble about if I am a child of God, it has helped to simply trust God the good Judge, to do what He knows is right for Him to do with me.

And keep your forgiving up to date :)

um but why is it that no human can give us better than we have with Jesus..? could you kindly share the bible verses with me..? i hope to meditate on them :)

btw, um, someone once told me that my depression might get better with a life partner :/ i believed that and chose the guy over God ><

i also felt betrayed by God when He allowed me to get bullied by classmates and even my family for a time. i found it hard to trust God after that and began looking out for myself. it was very traumatizing to experience the bullying :( and i didnt want to experience it again >< i still find it hard to trust God and obey Him now. that period of bullying made me hate myself, people, and even God. i started to rebel against God cos of that :(

one reason why i find it hard to come back to God is because im afraid of the bullying that i might experience again :(
and im afraid of accepting Christ and following Him cos i have read about the horrors of persecution, about how some true followers of Christ were brutally hurt. im afraid of these things ><

all of the above made me want to be independent of God before. but once i said that, i began getting attacked furiously by evil spirits. :( i feel so lost.

um i came across this term on an instagram post... it supposedly points to a Christian following the ways of the world :/

Ok. Thanks for following up with that answer.

What I'd like to draw your attention to is that fact that when treating with Christian Theology, if we're going to try to evaluate some aspect of our spiritual state or someone else's spiritual state, and we think we might qualify as being "Lukewarm," it's usually best to see what the Bible has to say about that concept and understand it before attempting to apply it to either ourselves or to others.

So, here's a question for you to think further about: based on what we can find about the concept of 'Lukewarmeness' in the Bible, what do you think being lukewarm actually means?

Furthermore, who are your social and spiritual resources in your own personal handling of your feelings in all of this? Your family? Your friends? Anyone?

um but i find that ever since i began using astrology i began to think i didnt need God, and i became proud >< how do i deal with this pride..?

You go to the Lord ... humbly and ask Him to help you overcome it.

Using astrology for what purpose?

Galatians 6:3
For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

Well Zhen, quit worrying you have crossed a line that you can't undo. Those spoken of in Hebrews 6 do not worry about anything, they are happy to be reprobates. God is always obtainable.

Stop dealing with the occult and astrology. God did not give you a spirit of fear, so do not keep it. 2 Tim. 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

You do that by resisting that spirit. James 4:7 "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

Many mature Christians have experienced God drawing back to test our faith. Get you head straightened out and get into the word and seek the Lord. He will then be found of you.

i think i might have blasphemed the Holy Spirit ><

after a close friend rejected Christ when i shared Jesus with him, told me he wanted someone tangible, and made it seem like i was nuts, i started to have thoughts that God was only in my imagination. I then started to imagine what God would say etc, and in a way, play God ><

i told that guy n girl that God said this and that when He did not >< looking back, i think that it was either me, or thoughts from the evil one whom i mistook to be God. isn’t this blaspheming the Holy Spirit..?

You absolutely have not blasphemed the Holy Spirit from what you've said :) Don't let the evil one trick you into thinking that you've done something that will remove your possibility of forgiveness. Always pray, and seek His forgiveness, and by seeking His forgiveness you're showing love for Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

Here is an excerpt from "The Ladder of Divine Ascent", by St. John Climacus.

"Anyone disturbed by the spirit of blasphemy and wishing to be rid of it should bear in mind that thoughts of this type do not originate in his own soul but are caused by that unclean devil who once said to the Lord, "I will give you all this if only You fall down and adore me" (Matt. 4:9). So let us make light of him and pay no regard whatever to his promptings. Let us say, 'Get behind me, Satan! I will worship the Lord my God and I will serve only Him' (Matt. 4:10). May your word and your effort rebound on you, and your blasphemies come down on your own head now and in the world to come." To fight against the demon of blasphemy in any way other than this is to be like a man trying to hold lightning in his hands. For how can you take a grip on, seize, or grapple with someone who flits into the heart quicker than the wind, talks more rapidly than a flash, and then immediately vanishes? Every other kind of foe stops, struggles a while, lingers and gives one time to struggle with him. But not this one. He hardly appears and is gone again immediately. He barely speaks and then vanishes.

This particular demon likes to take up residence in the minds of simpler and more innocent souls, and these are more upset and disturbed by it than others. To such people we could quite rightly say that what is happening to them is due not to their own undue self-esteem but to the jealousy of the demons."

The above quote can be found here under Step 24 : From the "Ladder of Divine Ascent"

So, from this we can take away that living a life of prayer, and seeking His forgiveness keeps us on the correct path. Don't be alarmed when you might think these things concerning blasphemy as it's the evil one trying hard to trick you, and take you off the correct path.

First, even if only Jesus is right for us, He is able to use humans of His approval to do us good which Jesus wants. So, humans are not totally out of the picture.

"Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
.My lips shall praise You."
(Psalm 63:3)

God's love does us more good, than humans of this world can do for us. But, like I said, God does use certain humans to minister His own good to us.

There is more, but let's go easy. I'll be glad to share more with you, the LORD willing.

um, the amp version of the bible says that being lukewarm means that one is spiritually useless >< sounds like me >< i feel like i have been led astray so badly that im the bad tree mentioned by Jesus.

Um i have a few friends to talk to, but i still think i need more help ><

amen...
thank you for the suggestion!

um i wanted to find out more about the personality of the person i liked, and then our relationship compatibility :/ then i used it to try to find out the truth about what happened in our relationship, cos he was lying to me and making me confused, and i wanted to find out what happened. so i turned to tarot online, the thing that shows what happened on a certain date >< i think it was out of curiosity to find out about things. and try to understand things ><

but the thing is that i didn't know its source. i even thought if was legitimate and true, and believed it completely. i followed what it said, and ended up making a lot of mistakes T.T using astrology made me proud, and literally ruined me. i would advise against it ><

If you think you can identify in yourself the lack of spiritual strength, then you're at least not "Lukewarm." And so, even if you know that at the moment you're not being the kind of person that the Lord would like for any of us to be, then you're still in a hopeful position to begin taking small steps to improve. Don't give up hope just because, today, you're feeling 'out of it.' Also realize the world influences us all everyday, so we have to take steps to be and remain being Christian, it's not just going to come or stay by magic fiat.

What this might mean for you is that if you're clinically depressed, you need to get some professional counseling and assistance. Then, start taking baby-steps to reorient and relearn what it is to 'be Christian.' Again, at least you're not Lukewarm, because if you we're, you wouldn't really realize that you're needing help.

Well, if you have failed, this is just proof of how you . . . plus all of us . . . are sure to fail without Jesus > another scripture >

"without Me you can do nothing" (in John 15:5)

Don't feel alone. Any of us has a hard time when we try to take things into our own hands. And why would we want to depend on our own selves?

"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Romans 5:5)

God Himself personally shares His own love with us "in our hearts". Humans can not stay in your heart, all the time, sharing their love with you!!

Feed on this; trust God to do this with you, knowing He knows any of us are guaranteed to fail, on our own. We all have experienced plenty of proof of this!! :)

i dont really get why humans are sure to fail without Jesus :/:/ why it is that without Jesus we can do nothing :/
Because Jesus is God's own Son. We are not God with His ability. But Jesus in us shares His love and creativity for how to love.

"And we have such trust through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God," (2 Corinthians 3:4-5)

So, only with God do we have the ability which does what is really good.

Humans in our own sort of loving can tend to be selfish and picking and choosing who is worth loving. We can tend to use people, and be really in love with what we want to use people to get.

Plus, only God's love has almighty power to keep us immune against cruel and ungodly feelings and emotions.

"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32)

None of us love like this, without Christ. Plus, only with Jesus can we forgive "even as God".

and why is this so: ‘Humans can not stay in your heart, all the time, sharing their love with you!!’ ..?
Oh . . . I think I see how you do not understand what I mean. I do not mean you can not think of someone you love; but I mean the person can not move into your heart and keep making you feel loved, all the time. But yes you can think of him or her, in your heart.

But God lives in our hearts > Romans 5:5 < we do not just think about Him, but He lives in us and personally shares with us. Humans can't stay with us, all the time, and they can't keep us immune against lusts and pride and nasty negative anger and complaining and arguing. Only Jesus in us can do this >

"'Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.'" (Matthew 11:29)

"'Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.'" (John 14:29)

Humans can't keep themselves in peace with almighty immunity against fear and worry. Jesus does.

thank you for your explanation :)
um is it that Jesus lives in us through the Holy Spirit? but what if I rejected Jesus and God before... Can He still come and live in me through the Holy Spirit again? I once received the Holy Spirit through a pastor's prayers (over the congregation)... but i think that other spirits might have come in when i rejected Jesus and God for the guy... Is it possible for Jesus to live in me again through the Holy Spirit? If so, how..?
