I don't know why you're laughing. Political pressure does wonders. That's the main reason we even have the impeachment process happening now.

Political pressure is not why Democrats want to impeach Trump. They know he committed crimes.

However, I doubt the Senate Republicans will vote to remove the president. It will be party over country with them, imho.

NO. It'll be about you DON'T impeach a President over a speculative notion and that's ALL it is.

YES, an impeachment inquiry, such as is being done, when there is the question of illegality on the part of the president (high crimes and misdomeanders, bribery) and when the House decides it occurred and then they impeach the president for a trial in the Senate. In regards to the Senate trial, Mulvaney, etc will not be able to refuse testimony and the State dept will absolutely have to release records they are withholding in an obstructive way now.

If there is evidence of that then stop the depositions and draw up articles of impeachment right now......but they are not going to do that, are they? They are going to keep calling so called witnesses, none so far who have admitted to hearing Trump say anything to substantiate a quid pro quo, or bribery, or whatever other word they want to change it to next week. Everything so far is second, third hand and even just what they read in the media....THE MEDIA!!!!!!!!!!..... and they call that evidence. The Dems are simply blowing smoke hoping to embarrass the adminstration and they can't see and they can't see that smoke is just blowing back in their faces. When this blows up I bet the Democratic party will distance themselves from these 'never Trumpers at any price'. Wonder if Nancy told Schiff to get articles of impeachment or start looking for a new job.....hope he finds one.

Well yea, that's how impeachment inquiries roll. They take a LONG time. Just ask Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton.

Will they even entertain the notion of a trial based on speculative notion and hearsay? Perhaps they will but not sure about that. And to actually remove a President over a speculative notion what does that say about the future. I'm thinking those here who'd love to see Trump gone regardless of the method might have buyers remorse years down the road when a future President can be so easily removed from office. The Republicans some day might control the House and the Dems the Presidency.....get ready as I say for another President to be impeached over as I call it speculative notions, that is I think the President meant this, Oh yeah I'm pretty comfortable he did....NOT THE SAME as an actual declaration. Is this really and truly what THE PEOPLE want?

Have you been watching the hearings? There is no such thing as hearsay when a witness talks under oath because they must tell "the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth" about first-hand accounts.

I don't believe it is speculative when in fact the military aid was withheld after the Dept. of Defense certified that Ukraine had met their obligations in terms of corruption goals last May. It isn't speculation that Trump said "I want you to do us a favor, though" and go on to discuss the Bidens, after talking about a conspiracy theory about 2016.
There is every reason to believe that conspiracy theory was generated by Putin to Kilimnski to Manafort to Giuliani to Trump. All roads seem to lead to Russia with Trump.

He has got 4 witnesses now to admit there is no direct evidence of a quid pro quo. Just opinion and supposition.

The killer was Donald releasing the transcripts of the infamous call.

Cab for Schiff..!!
How would a witness even be able to assert there is no evidence of something, not being privy to all information? And how would that be “dismantling” a witness anyway? Sondland, the witness closest to the deal, testified repeatedly today that there was a quid pro quo.

Which witnesses are you referring to? Please post quotes.

It has NEVER been speculation.
Now come on now! What do you mean it's NEVER been speculation? Sondland said today the basis of what his belief was based upon was what he presumed to be true. Presuming something is a speculative notion simple as that!

Sondland did not "presume" there was quid pro quo. He said yes. Did you watch or read his opening statement?
