That's what we might or would think, but then again, we're what? "only human"... But only God the Father alone truly knows and can judge for sure, etc...

That's why I think it almost always was only within that one's knowing or knowledge alone...

But that Christ sowed Himself in hope, etc...

God Bless!
Christ is the one who will judge. People assume it is God the Father because they believe "He is the one who demands it"

You need to be in Communion with God

Your replies are very vague. Guilt is supposed to be a natural human emotion that occurs after doing wrong. The less sensitive to sin we are the more likely we will sin. Guilt and a well-formed conscience go together.

When talking about "guilt", I refer to the culpability of sin

Is the guilt of Adam's sin imputed to his offspring (us)? Why or why not?
Imputed, as in we're held responsible for it? Of course not, because we didn't do it. We're held responsible for our own sins, not those of others.

To be clear, I don't think for a second that I would have done any better than him.

Why did St Augustine reason why babies needed to be baptized?

Your right, God the Son will come back to judge, with the knowledge that He has now and has had after his resurrection and ascension now or afterward or after that though, and since and from that (time), etc, that came/comes from the Father...

God Bless!

The simple answer is yes.

Genesis 6:5
The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.

Ecclesiastes 7:20
Indeed, there is no one on earth who is righteous, no one who does what is right and never sins.

Psalm 14: 2-4
The Lord looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand,
any who seek God. All have turned away, all have become corrupt;
there is no one who does good, not even one.

Matthew 15:19
For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.

John 3:6
Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.

John 6:63
The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing.
The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.

yes

Any sin has the guilt of Adam's sin. And we all have sinned. And sin is disobedience to God, like Adam's sin.

But, if we are in Jesus, we are no longer Adam's offspring.

We all require baptism.
Yes but according to Augustine there was a specific reason a cute little innocent baby who has never sinned required baptism. I posed this question to another poster.

"All" in Romans 5 is qualified by the important concepts "in Adam" and "in Christ". All "in Adam" are condemned. All "in Christ" are justified.
Now it would be useful to explain what, then, needs to be done, to be in Adam, and what needs to be done to be in Christ. Which action requires the least of our participation to be effective?

Choose life, and life in Christ, with Christ, etc...

God Bless!
