Exactly. We built them up because they showed good morals and now when they cave to Satan they can be taken down. They have no idea the world of hurt they caused themselves because they worship the world more than the Creator

One thing I struggle with weekly is that our Catholic Church actually PAYS to have this brought into our Mass every week via Oregon Catholic Press and the Dan Schutte and David Haas music. Um, yeah. Give us the source. I've heard this before and it's been disproven before.

It's actually not true that Chik-Fil-A will stop donating to Salvation Army, etc. But they will balance their donations to be more in line with their stated mission.

I see it more as the overwhelming power of those disgusting deviants. Don't line the victims up in front of the firing squad. They tried but they caved in. So has virtually every other business in the world, before these guys did.

The possibility for conception is only open in a marriage between a man and a woman. Sarah and Abraham are examples of what looks like a hopeless situation for conception, yet they had a child. The point is the possibility was there, not so in same-sex couples.

This is what I find troubling about same-sex couples (as parents): B.N. Klein, Robert Oscar Lopez, Dawn Stefanowicz, and Katy Faust all grew up with homosexual parents. All four argued that redefining marriage to include same-sex couples would harm children by depriving them of a mother or father.

I feel that all children need both a mother and a father.

It's a matter of having a mother AND father. Children need both, that's why divorce is so hard on kids.

I misread above. Yes, a child should have a Mom and Dad

I'm Catholic and I was 100% behind Chick Fil A and I know of other Catholics that were too. Secondly, Evangelicals don't have a market on the social and political 'right'. There are plenty of Catholics on that end on the spectrum and thank God they're starting to speak up. Lastly, no restaurant has a monopoly on chicken. There are plenty of places to get chicken without compromising.

I would hasten to say, sister, that Chick Fil A never did say they would stop giving to those Christian organizations. What they said is that they would balance where they gave, focusing on feeding the poor.
Here's there actual statement. I don't see anything about not giving to SA etc...
