From the "Who would have guessed that Joe Biden's son threw in with a den of thieves?" files: Ukrainian Indictment Claims $7.4 Billion Obama-Linked Laundering, Puts Biden Group Take At $16.5 Million

An indictment drawn up by Ukraine's Office of the Prosecutor General against Burisma owner Nikolai Zlochevsky claims that Hunter Biden and his partners received $16.5 million for their 'services' - according to Ukrainian MP Alexander Dubinsky of the ruling Servant of the People Party.
...
"Zlochevsky was charged with this new accusation by the Office of the Prosecutor General but the press ignored it," said the MP. "It was issued on November 14."
...
"The son of Vice-President Joe Biden was receiving payment for his services, with money raised through criminal means and money laundering," he then said, adding "Biden received money that did not come from the company’s successful operation but rather from money stolen from citizens."

Claims without factual proof? This looks like politics and propaganda. Get the book Blackwater. Find out why the United States was in the Ukraine in the first place. Find out the history of Russia and the Ukraine since the end of World War II.

I don't see any indications that Biden did anything here. It appears that he unknowingly profited from Burisma's corruption. Was it an exercise in poor judgment? Absolutely. Illegal? No.

Furthermore, it seems as though Ukraine has in fact fulfilled their end of the quid pro quo that Trump claims doesn't exist. They've named Hunter Biden in the indictment, despite not actually charging him with anything, and attempted to tie corruption in Ukraine to the Democratic Party.

Unknowingly? Seriously?

Hunter Biden is ivy league educated, a man of intellect ... or so we've been told by the mainstream media recently. Is it really possible that Hunter didn't know that Burisma was corrupt? Consider that Joe Biden's focus was to clean up corruption in Ukraine.

... except that Donald Trump never asked for them to do that.

If you're going to charge Trump though ... are you similarly in favor of charging Joe Biden for his quid pro quo?

Anything is possible. As I said, it was definitely poor judgment.

Well, Donald Trump says that he never asked them to do that. One of his points of evidence being that they never announced any investigations. Except now they have.

If you're going to charge Trump though ... are you similarly in favor of charging Joe Biden for his quid pro quo?
It's not the quid pro quo that's the issue. It's what the pro quo was and how it benefited Trump personally. In other words, he used personal access to the President and aid money already approved by Congress to coerce another country into investigating a political rival. I still haven't seen any evidence that Shokin's firing benefited Biden in any way. He wasn't investigating Burisma - and his successor did (as well as investigating Hunter Biden specifically).

Biden's action was explicitly in accord with express US policy at the time.

Trump was trying to do an end-run around current US policy. It wasn't done for the benefit of the nation, it was for Trump's personal interests ...

Then why refer to him by name in the indictment? It certainly makes it sound like they investigated him. More specifically, it makes it sound like they investigated him and found nothing, but wanted to include his name in the indictment anyways.

You are wasting your time with putting facts up. OP has no interest in facts.. he found an article from a Russian troll sites and he wants to talk about it because he can’t defend the President. And as we all know the current GOP tactic is that .. if you don’t have truth on your side, you just harp on lies long enough that some people will start believing!

... because PAYOFFS are not always illegal.
There's no evidence to support your implication here ...

Or do you have some evidence for this ... other than from some fairly unreliable Ukrainian source ?

Opps..Looks like this is the reciprocity that Trump wanted.

Sad for America that people are taking Russian troll sites seriously.

Sure, the Russian propaganda mill supports their man.... but there will be a price to pay.
