"Greed" all tied up in "pride" and "self-will" was the downfall of Lucifer, re-named Satan. His greed was in wanting to, in his greed, overthrow and de-throne the living God. HE wanted to be "God" and to be worshiped.

The symptoms of greed are as described; discontent, strife, and willfulness. Greed is a green-eyed monster, along with its "twin", covetousness (jealousy).

We're a sorry bunch without God's grace, forgiveness, mercy, and salvation.

Thank you for this profound meditation and study on this cloudy, but warmer Wednesday morning in November.
