They may have quit donating to those organizations for some other reason and the press blew it up as a victory for the other side.

Nah if you read the piece and a few others they are concerned with expansion into more liberal areas. Their explanation was but corporate speak.
I read one comment that the crocodile is never satiated with just one bite. The left will never forgive them now they risk losing their base.

Not sure what you mean by “the right”. But it was Christians who stood by Chick Fil A and drove their sales to be the number one fast food restaurant in the US. It was Christian values that drove Chick Fil A to be rated the highest in customer satisfaction.
Those same Christian folks you label “the right” might vote with their wallets. The left will never forgive Chick Fil A . They might be left with nothing.

I seen someone said online that "So are LGBT celebrating the fact that many who would get help from this money won't now? Is this really a win?".
That all said more and more cave into pressure and it just reflects how America is going down the drain more and more.

Our Churches could take a lesson from Chick-Fil-A. They held the higher ground, and they grew because of it. Now when they cave, they'll probably stagnate or worse - because they don't look different than anything else.
Most of our Churches have done the same - the one's that compromised are stagnant or shrinking. The ones that have not people are driving farther and farther to.
Most of our bishops have long ago done what Chick-Fil-A is doing today. They caved - and people left in droves. They ignored the compromise within the Church and as it comes out, more have left.
