why do so many people believe we are on the narrow path?

Jesus said the only gospel was the Gospel of the Kingdom, so any theology should revolve round that.
Then why do you like to argue against what scripture states & putting your own spin upon it? your posts seem confusing and contradictory at times.

So...your view is that Jesus was only speaking of Himself?

I don't know if I would say it's my "view." But, I do have an inclination to think it's a live possibility. It all depends on how we define the terms. Is the finished work of Christ included in the saying or no? If it is, then we can say more than one find the road that leads to life (i.e. he being that narrow way). If the finished work of Christ is not included, then he is the only one who goes through the narrow gate that leads to life (and then he takes others with him). Part of what I am assuming here is that Paul is correct when he states all have fallen short and are in need of grace.

Seems like that is just a chaotic confusing way to read whatever into the scripture.
Take Christ's word as He spoke it using this metaphor, it's clear that He is warning that most in the world will go the easy way through the wide gate and few will take the narrow way --which is to follow HIM.

At this point in time no human has been resurrected or has entered the Kingdom other than in attitude.
Matthew 18:4 - Bible Gateway

"in the kingdom" Today, already. On earth. The disciples with Jesus were already in His Kingdom. He told them to "start living like it!" ....

In spirit and in truth! (as well as having the same attitude as Jesus in all things)

Matthew 5
"If all you do is love the lovable, do you expect a bonus? Anybody can do that. 47 If you simply say hello to those who greet you, do you expect a medal? Any run-of-the-mill sinner does that. 48 "In a word, what I'm saying is, Grow up. You're kingdom subjects. Now live like it. Live out your God-created identity. Live generously and graciously toward others, the way God lives toward you. "

It seemed you skipped reality though, and in spirit, and in truth.
Spirit and truth is living properly in the upside down ways of the Kingdom as compared to the self serving traditional ways of man.

Do you question God's judgment?
I do not question God's Justice at all. He has impressed it upon me many times that He is a God of absolute and perfect Justice. We can see a demonstration of this in the way the Universe is fine tuned. There is an incredible amount of precision.

upside down ways of the Kingdom
Actually we do things backwards. Hebrew words are spelled right to left. In English we read left to right. Some of the letters are upside down. For example the A is upside down in English, in Hebrew the letter A represents the head of a cattle with the horn facing up. So you could say we are upside down and backwards. My son put on a tee shirt once that was inside out and backwards.
