Lately I have been having a lot of thoughts of quitting my job. A lot of people can only dream to get into this organization that I am employed. I really need guidance.

It just seems like my passion has disappeared (not sure if it's an attack from the enemy or if it's just God telling me to move on)? This organization has really helped me in my faith however not a lot of people know my work has caused me a lot of stress and anxiety, my boss being micromanager, and also shows favouritism and subtle discrimination in my team. Some discrimination as well at work. Can't tell HR, as everyone is close to my boss, even the boss of the HR is friends with my boss. Certain things are really not fair at my work. ANd this caused me to be sick.

Secondly, some of my relationship in my fellowship has changed for the worse. I suddenly feel excluded from groups within, which didn't happen before. And then someone complained about me to management to get me fired and it was slander issue.

I feel very hurt by all the things that happened. Years before I worked in this organization I received confirmation in the Lord that it was his will I work at this place. However, now suddenly everything starts going downhill - my health, my work and my relationships. Is this the enemy trying to attack me or is this God transitioning me to a different work place?

If someone can please help guide me... Anyone here prophetic that can prohesy over me so I will know God's will?

I always tell people not to quit a job unless you have something lined up to replace it. So, if you want to leave start putting your resume out and make a plan. Times when I have quit without another job waiting I have regretted it.
Unless your independently wealthy and don't need the income

If your work situation has become that toxic it may be time to move along, but don't just quit with nothing lined up. It's a lot easier to interview when you already have an existing job. Employed people seem more marketable and can negotiate from a better position of not being desperate. Another option might be an internal transfer to a different department within your company. Check your internal postings. Maybe you can start fresh but stay within the same organization.

You are getting paid, in one way or another, to do what the boss wants you to do, regardless if you like it or not. Work is an exchange of energy (work energy for paid energy), it is as simple as that. The boss did not hire you for personal reasons, but for productivity reasons.

At work, it's principles before personalities, and those that produce well will get paid and be valued as good workers. The productivity takes care of the personal results.
If one places personalities before principles, the principles become unproductive, and one is not binding to their agreement for energy exchange.

If you don't like the place, it at least gives you a chance to practice tolerance, acceptance, patience, forgiveness, endurance, faith, and all other virtues which require ongoing practice; or we will revert back to our old self of fear, want, exploitation, greed, and those other vices which come natural to our old self.

If you wish to change jobs, do so with proper integrity and work ethics _ which you are also paid to follow.

So far, none of the information in the OP is specific enough to say I think you should immediately quit your job. Feelings can go up or down over time. And it is, after all, work. If something is outright illegal and you can't tell HR, report it to your state's Labor Commission (or the appropriate governmental authority). If over the long-term, you just have far more bad days than good, strategize to make a career move. But don't just quit. There's a difference between quitting and being a quitter.

I am very productive at work and always do my best, as I work for God and not for men. However it's also a two way street. Employees should also be treated with fairness and integrity. We are not machines or mere robots that produce output, but human beings with feelings and emotions as God has created us. My work is toxic and has affected my mental health - for 4 years I have endured and practiced patience. Have you ever been in a toxic work environment?

Yeah, PF, I have to disagree here. You work for the name that is on your paycheck--not necessarily your boss. The manager is an employee assign to act on behalf of the company. But if they are acting in ways outside of their capacity as intended by that company, your duty is to the company.

Unfortunately a switch to an internal role may not be possible as my skills and qualifications are quite specialized. I really just have to hold on and try to manage until I get another job opportunity.

Switching internally when you are disgruntled is fairly uncommon. You usually have to get a positive reference from your manager, and you dis on your manager merely by telling other departments you want to change managers. And even if they value you, often they value enough to give you a mixed review, so as to prevent you from transferring. Sometimes HR or upper management recognize this, but more often than not, that door is closed.

Be thankful for your job and do it the best it can be done. People will hate you for upstaging them. But that goes with your calling. If anyone prophecies over you, do the exact opposite. There are no prophets today since we now have the NT.

Thank you I have to be thankful I even have a job. But Im sorry to say we disagree about prophetic gifts as I still believe they are in operation today.

Many also do but I wasted years going down that road and know better.

It sounds like you might be wearing your religion on your sleeve in an environment where it is not appreciated.
The most surprising part of this is its a Christian organization I work for, and that's why the hurt cuts deeper as I've been treated much better in working for other nonChristian organizations

I want to share with you why I believe in prophetic intercession. One night I had a dream... I went to see a Pastor at my church who had the prophetic gift. I never told him my dream, but that following morning, he prayed for me and told me the vision God showed him while praying for me. The vision was exactly the same as my dream the night before! How can I not believe that the prophetic does not exist today? I still believe God speaks to us in many ways.

Having a plan to find a new position may make your current position easier to bear ...

God speaks only through scripture. Pastor prophets are not mini Popes.

This work for a big Christian organization, very well known in the city that I live. Staff value relationships and many staff people have very strong personal ties with each other. One time I was treated unfairly by a coworker, I spoke up to my boss and superior and told her how I was being treated. However, because of my co-worker and boss close relationship, my complaint was dismissed. There was no objectivity in my boss, she tends to have a bias as she always sides with people she is close with, and not necessarily what is fair and right. I learned not to voice out any complains or even give any negative feedback, even to the executives as Im the low man in the totem pole and not to go against the grain, because I've been reprimanded for doing so before and don't want to lose my job. I noticed after that incident I was excluded to meetings and my boss started to exclude me from even meeting with other stakeholders, like she just wants to keep me there and not have any professional growth. However I can't stay in this kind of environment any longer. I'm disappointed to be working with people who claim to be Christians but who respect people by "position" and "connection"... who look at "appearances" and promote people they like, and not those who are qualified for the job. If you are in a high position and well connected to senior leadership, you are basically respected...and if you are like me, you are ignored and not heard.
