I am personally praying for a Eddie Rispone (R) victory.

No true good will come forth in society unless God brings it forth through His Church

Salt preserves.
Salt make something more desirable.
Salt is a vital nutrient and thus nourishes.
Salt affects the entirety of that to which it is applied.

As Christians we have not been put on this earth only to represent the Truth, but also to effect the whole earth. Salt affects the entirety of that to which it is applied. We are the light and salt of the earth; therefore, we have the duty and moral responsibility to positively effect society. The primary means to accomplish this is through prayer: that particular ministry found throughout the Bible and history; that ministry that has historically and necessarily preceded great and positive changes in the Church of God and in societies the world over. Yes, that ministry called Prayer. It does not require impressive credentials; it does not require lots of money; it does not require impressive social status. That simple, accessible, and foundational ministry called prayer.

Please keep up your prayers, Saints.

Well, the democrat incumbent won it by 2 percentage points. The other state position, secretary of state, was won by a republican.

A bunch of governorship positions are up for grabs in 2020.

Of the 3 2019 special gubernatorial elections, Mississippi was taken by a republican. However, Republicans won much if not most of the offices that were available in the 2019 special elections including the two available US House seats.

So, we continue to mach on! The godless don't stay down after their setbacks, that's for sure. Neither must we. Onward and forward, Christian soldiers!

Praying that Gordon Sondland's testimony tomorrow comes to absolutely nothing.

And of course politicians can change their minds on issues, as has happened before. So even a Dem in office can do some good if they are changed. I even remember a notable Dem becoming a republican while still in office.
