The House impeaches ... and will do so.

The Senate holds an impeachment trial ... and will do so.

The Senate will have the option to convict and remove the president ... or not. Whether or not they do so, the president is still impeached.

You can think of it as two halves of a process. The Senate can choose to complement the House's action or not, ... but Senate cannot undo what the House has done.

The prophet is, likely, wrong. It will take a miracle for Trump to avoid impeachment.

Further, the majority of Americans support the impeachment process. A slim majority support impeachment and removal. The president may hold on to the 40% of Americans who will not surrender their approval of him, ... but he's got to account to the 55% of Americans who currently disapprove of his performance.

He gave the transcripts which show timeline of his bribery scheme. Even Fox News' Bret Baier was amazed that Trump couldn't keep from shooting himself down on Twitter.

If you actually watched the three testimonies that were televised, you would know that "under oath," all three of these witnesses admitted that they knew of no law that the President had broken.

EVERY witness who has testified publicly has admitted that he or she has no direct knowledge of what happened, and knew of no law that the President had broken.

And attempts to discredit the only witness with DIRECT knowledge of what happened, who is the alleged victim of the alleged crime, are strictly pathetic.

The HARD TRUTH is, that the ONLY evidence against the President is the word of people who hate him and who actually have zero direct knowledge of what was done.

You are inaccurate and incomplete as usual. The sworn testimony is that Trump is a criminal and a traitor, and Trump won't let his people testify. The transcript is incomplete and Pence is a liar, as usual. The frenzied agitation for the President has peaked, just no higher than it always is, and now will slump to below 40.

It is good to know that local businesses, local governments, local schools are removing Trump supporters.

This reckoning for the Trump supporters' failed coup must be carried out completely.

Actually, the Constitution allows for impeachment ONLY for "Treason, bribery, and high crimes and misdemeanors." If none of these can be PROVED, there is ZERO constitutional basis for impeachment. And the current process is being conducted in blatant defiance of ALL the established norms of due process.

PROOF has not been produced without the accused being allowed to cross examine each accuser,
and all relevant evidence being examined, including all exonerating evidence claimed by the defense.

Actually, there's also Vindman's testimony as a listener to the phone-call, Sondland's testimony ... from direct discussions with Trump, ... and the testimony of those 3-4 others who overheard Trump's careless phone call with Sondland in Kiev.

All told ... there's a good, consistent body of evidence.

And if the Republicans cannot bring themselves to remove Trump, then there's Bolton's book which will be published in 2020 ...

It's not for witnesses to determine that. Witness only provide testimony of what they have experienced.

It is all third party hearsay... And, looks like the reason that they will not allow the "whistle blower" to be named and presented as a witness... is because this person could be used, during questioning, to incriminate Biden in the corruption and conflict of interest with his son and the company in Ukraine.

It is not about the fact that they have nothing on Trump and that this fact would be reinforced.. it is because Biden would be found guilty of corruption along with his son.
