You're not unforgiveable. You're just being tormented. Pray to God through Jesus Christ that He cast out the demons that are tormenting and lying to you.

It sounds like you may actually be feeling conviction of some kind since you are here. These thoughts that you say you have are often natural for us. It's how we respond to those thoughts that count. Many of us still struggle with sinful thoughts all the time--myself included. You clearly don't like having them. That's a good sign!

If you don't feel or sense conviction then where do you think the crying and wanting to change comes from ? Non repentant people don't cry over their follies or get scared about the concept of themselves landing in hell. OCD screws up your thought patterns but your heart is what matters, not thoughts polluted by your own health condition. God reads and works in your heart. Believe what scripture says to you starting in the book of John.

Hi JasonMalloy1999,

As believers, we can't function according to "what we feel" when it comes to things like conviction, forgiveness, salvation, etc. What I mean by that is:

  • There are some days when I don't "feel" convicted about something sinful, but if God's word tells me that it's sinful, then that's what it is. I don't go off of my feelings about it, I go off of what God says about it since His Word is sure and He cannot lie.

  • There are times when I have sinned and have asked Jesus to forgive me (because I know it's wrong) but I may not "feel" forgiven. But I trust that I am because of what God's Word tells me about that. I can't go off of my feelings instead. (I think that's where Satan likes to lie to us, telling us if we don't feel it, it must not be a reality. So not true!)

  • There are moments when fear grips me and I worry that I'm not saved when I know that I am. Even after 32 years of walking with Jesus and being radically transformed at the age of 20, I still have those crazy moments where the thought of, "Oh no! What if I'm missing it and I'm really not saved?" I know those thoughts are from Satan, but still, it happens. It's crazy! But I can't rely on what I feel or think. I have to rely on the only trustworthy source in that regard, which is God's Word.

My encouragement to you is for you to really get into God's word, reading the New Testament each day, even throughout the day as needed. The bible tells us that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. God will also use His word to renew your mind, take away your fears, and teach you what is true. It's up to you whether you choose to believe it or not.

Also, you need to stop relying on your feelings and start relying solely upon what God says about certain things that you are battling. Otherwise, Satan will take you for a ride and leave you all confused, which is what I see happening. God has much better for you than that. Trust Him to help you, and as a previous poster responded, pray and ask Jesus to deliver you from the torment of demonic spirits who are trying to bring confusion to you and dilute God's word in your heart and mind. You must resist that.

Finally, read and mediate on Philippians 4:6-9 and follow what it says. Also, read Ephesians 6:10-20. Putting on the whole armor of God is not about a ritual of "getting dressed" in a literal sense. It is about fighting spiritual battles with spiritual weapons. Those weapons are:

  1. The Belt of Truth (Which is what I was saying earlier about standing on, believing, and trusting 100% what God says in His word)
  2. The Breastplate of Righteousness (This is where we stand believing we are clothed in Jesus' righteousness and not our own, since that is what God's word tells us is true)
  3. The Preparation of the Gospel of Peace (To be able to share the gospel of peace with others and even ourselves sometimes, it takes preparation ahead of time. We have to know the word so we can share the word. Again, it all goes back to God's word)
  4. Take up the Shield of Faith (We are to stand steadfast in our faith, knowing who we are in Christ and who He is in us. This enables us to respond in faith instead of fear when we are attacked.)
  5. Take up the Helmet of Salvation (Again, this goes back to what God's Word says about our salvation if we have placed our trust in Jesus for it. The helmet of salvation serves to guard our minds against the attacks of Satan who would try to convince us of his lies instead of God's truths)
  6. Take up the Sword of the Spirit (This is the Word of God which serves to "dismember" the lies of Satan. We have to know the word to be able to take it up as a weapon, though)
  7. Prayer (This is our direct line to Jesus. We need to use it regularly, especially when we are attacked in our minds, and ask Him to help us in our time of need.)
I have an audio bible study on this very topic if you're interested. :)

It is really good that you are truly worried about this, that is proof that you are being guided by the Holy Spirit.

I notice that you are from the United Kingdom. This book is a truly encouraging prediction about an Awakening that is beginning in the U. K.

forgive what
Forgive any and all people > like how Jesus on the cross prayed forgiveness out to those people who still were hating and torturing and murdering Jesus >

"Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." (in Luke 23:34)

Never mind your past; you are who you are, now.

ok can i ask my ocd is giving inappropriate behavior with animals of a white dove which the ocd showed the dove as the holy spirit can i be saved and it just showed a different one right now
Yeah, I struggle with blasphemous, intrusive, ugly thoughts, too. It is painful, and feels awful. Pray, my friend . I do believe that cruel, jealous evil spirits are behind much of these phenomena. Just pray, friend, listen to Christian music, study Scripture, and ignore the thoughts. They are not of you. So you are not condemned for them.

Your ocd is not reality. We walk by faith and believe what scripture tells us, our feelings ( or lack there of) on the other hand, can and often will, deceive us.
