What is the name of the God of Abraham, God of Isaac, God of Jacob and God of Moses?

Sounds occult to me, like something based on kaballah.
Which Version of the Bible do you read? Each translation has differences. Are you associated with a denomination? Have you researched the names of God? You are quick to call something occult.

I read multiple versions, and it is only occultists who make a BIG DEAL over all the naming variations.

Honestly I don't make a big deal over it. Ultimately God is God Jesus is Jesus and Holy Spirit is Holy Spirit.

Is it Jehovah or Yahweh(Revealed to Moses in the burning bush) Why is the name of God replaced with LORD? Is the name of God Jesus Christ?
I think that this is a very good question. In fact a few years ago, I did a sermon about this.

Here is the short and simple version:
1. In the Old Testament, God told Moses that his name, when converted into English letters was Yahweh, which can be translated in a number of ways, such as "I am" or even "I will be what I will be".

2. The Jews, however, felt that God's name was too holy for people to speak aloud, so when reading "Yahweh, they would pronounce the Hebrew word for Lord, "Adonai".

For example, Isaiah 42: is written as "I am Yahweh, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, or My praise to idols" but it is read aloud as "I am Adonai, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, or My praise to idols".

3. Unfortunately, in order to save time and space, vowels were not written down only consonants. Thus Yahweh became written as YHWH. Later scribes added vowel accents on top of the consonants to remind people how to say the words. But specifically for YHWH, they used the vowels for Adonai, to remind people how to speak scripture without actually saying the holy name.

4. Later, when translating the Bible into English, they did not know about the Yahweh/Adonai combination and thus mistakenly translated YHWH as Jehovah. When modern scholars discovered their error, they switched the translations from Jehovah to Yahweh.

5. Why, then, does the English Bible use LORD instead of Yahweh or "I am" for God's name. The reason is that the translators decided to maintain the Jewish tradition of avoiding the direct use of God's name and have substituted Lord instead. The difference is that Hebrew readers would know the real name of God, Yahweh, (even if they did not say it aloud) while English readers would only know the safe substitute, LORD.

6. There is no biblical justification for translating Yahweh into LORD and this used to bother me. But I have come to realize that there is no magical power in any particular name of God. What counts is an obedient relationship with God.

You have missed the point.

In Hebrew, there is no English. We are discussing things in English, so there have to be some simplifications.

If you know of a better way to explain this, let us know.

How do you know?
In Hebrew, the word shem (name) deals more with the character, reputation, and authority of the name bearer, than it does what we call them. How do we know? It us simply how that language works.

So, to "walk in the name of God" means to walk in a manner that reflects His character, is within the scope of his will/authority, and that adds to His reputation. To profane His name is to call Him Lord and then walk in a manner that does not reflect His character, is outside His will/authority, and/or takes from His reputation.

So, what? The people who invented "Jehovah" still used that as the basis for the vowels they arbitrarily assigned to the tetragrammaton.

jehovah | Origin and meaning of the name jehovah by Online Etymology Dictionary

Does anyone else in the world ever bother studying history, anymore?
Nobody invented Yehovah. While I don't believe that is the proper pronunciation...knowing that NOBODY knows with 100% certainty the true pronunciation...then this is as good an attempt as any.

Imagine what YHWH thinks of those who divide over how to say His name. A word that while pointing to Him...was designed to declare His eternal nature.

You can say that again! ;)

I don't believe it is Yahweh either. The pronunciation I believe it to be is something I don't share openly for the reasons we see within this thread. If people think "calling on His name" means a certain pronunciation of YHWH (rather the proclaiming His character attributes to those around us) then I am not throwing what I think MIGHT be correct into a mix of argumentative discourse. It just isn't worth the time and borders on profaning His name. :)

I would be interested in what you believe it is and why, but understand if you don't want to share. Shabbat Shalom achi!

His name in English is "I AM BECAUSE I AM/I EXIST BECAUSE I EXIST".

He told His name to Moses in Exodus 3:13-14.

Humans compiled the bible canon; the Word of God is a Living Entity. The Word of God, as part of the New Covenant/Contract, will literally instruct people in heart and mind so that they won't even have to ask their neighbors who the Most High God is: they will know. Lord, is a title; the name of the Most High God is sacred.

The name of the Word of God/Redeemer of Mankind is Yehoshuah, or "Joshua" in English.
