I disagree. I think Trump was a candidate that a lot of people resonated with and felt passionate about what he preached.
Most people I know, no matter who they voted for, were actually voting AGAINST the other one.

She lost because, of an out dated system. That should have been gone over 20 years ago. She was much better candidate than Trump.
She lost because she failed in so many ways, one in particular in failing to comprehend the way elections are conducted in the USA following the constitution. Trump was a lousy candidate too, but less incompetent than Hillary so he managed to win. Carly Fiorina could have beaten her, Marco Rubio could have beaten her, Ted Cruz could have beaten her, and pretty much any Republican candidate besides Trump could have beaten her, and by a bigger margin. You may like Hillary, but she was an inferior candidate without skill who did not inspire much of any confidence or loyalty. That she thinks she is going to save the Dems is hilarious. That someone else suggests it to her may be cruel.

Hillary knew all that.
She just took it all for granted.
Like many got too hung up with the
unreliable polls.

She forgot they were on her side
and maybe not telling the truth?

Maybe

Several news outlets are reporting this story. Could it be? Might it be? Could dear Hillary Clinton try and redeem herself and run again in 2020?

Are any of those news outlets the Associated Press?

In the last election Trump won because Hillary was so poor a candidate. Somehow now she's a better candidate than all the other Dems? Whatever drugs are involved in that kind of thinking, I want some.

Trump was a poor candidate. American voters knew it. They were just mad about thousands of her emails being deleted when she was Secretary of State. If people were more interested in her plans as President, based on what she did in the Senate and said during campaign rallies, Donald Trump would not have had a chance.

CNN and ABC reported it yesterday. I'm sure there are other major news outlets also.

I think it would be a mistake. I kind of see her as damaged goods. I would vote for her over Trump (I would vote for a monkey over Trump ;) ), but I don't think she can carry the nomination this time around and even other librels I know IRL dislike her (for reasons that none have really been able to articulate).
Thank you for taking the time to cite sources.

That said, Trump’s best chance in 2020 is to funnel enough cash her way to entice her to run.

News just in from the veterinarian psychiatrist.
It is said that the monkey
is under enormous pressure
because of the ones wishing for him to run.
Monkeys hate decisions like that.

White House staff after hearing the rumors have locked tight the oval office and have ordered 50 climbing trees to be planted on the White House lawn.

Who in their right mind would be putting "enormous pressure" on Hillary to run again? Who are these insane people?

It's Bill. He wants her out of the house.

I know a big number of voters did that in 2016. Others (including the Bush family) did not vote for either.

The Clinton Furniture Flap

Q: Did Bill and Hillary Clinton return furniture they took from the White House in 2001?
A: Yes. The Clintons returned more than $28,000 worth of items, which, they said, they thought were personal gifts given to them and not to the White House.

Mittman, Noe and Joy Ficks, the widow of Lee Ficks, told the Post that their donations were gifts to the White House, not the Clintons. The contributions were intended to complement a 1993 White House redecoration project.

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
I find this story interesting but,
not a nice one.

As for calling it "enormous pressure," I guess that's simply her way of saying that she has received some phone calls and emails.
actually I think it's credible. Many Democrats think Bernie and Warren aren't electable, and Joe is a weak candidate. There's major concern that we need a strong centrist candidate. I can see that many might think she qualifies. I don't agree, but I'm prepared to believe many traditional leaders would like to see her run.

Trump was an excellent candidate. He had a strong appeal to a large segment of the American population. Evangelicals should have realized that he was a terrible person, but they were always going to vote with any candidate who would nominate conservative justices, no matter how bad the candidate. What Trump brought was the rest of the people needed to elect a president.

Hillary won the popular vote, but the people in power voted for Trump, so...

That ... really doesn't say much for Hillary if it is Trump of all people that she won out over on actual number of votes, though. I don't see how she'd have any chance of overcoming Biden or Warren (not that I myself care much for either).

I didn't vote for either of them either. But I did vote. This time I'm not excited about Trump, but I've found no Democrat worthy of a vote either. So I'm looking to see who the American Solidarity Party is going to run. They are a centrist party and pro-life too. I can't vote for any of the Dems because of their abortion positions. Of course the last Democrat where that was no problem was probably Hubert Humphrey. It was a shame that he lost.

That story has no connection whatsoever to what will happen next year in the Democratic primaries. So it makes no sense that you even looked at it.

If she runs again that story might come back to bite her?

It does seem that she has a lot of baggage?
