Thursday 11-7-19, Cheshvan 9, 5780 5th. day of the weekly cycle, 46th. Fall day,

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Zechariah 4:6

King James Bible Par ▾
The Gold Lampstand

1And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep, 2And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:

3And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. 4So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord? 5Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

6Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. 7Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

8Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 9The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. 10For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

The Two Olive Trees

11Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? 12And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? 13And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. 14Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

Love always, Walter and Debbie

Hey ! I think this applies to a post I just made too - though I did not think of this nor consider it at the time .....

Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Zechariah 4:6

This is another verification/ in complete harmony/ of the SOURCE OF YAHUWEH's WORD (Yahuweh Himself, as He Says) ,
NOT flesh and blood...

The Spirit of God is indeed a mighty and powerful force.
Some verses of the might and power of it:

Jhn 11:39
Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.
Jhn 11:43
Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”[same amount of days as the 2 witnesses in Revelation 11:11 lay dead]

Acts 1:8
But ye will receive power when the Holy Spirit<4151> has come upon ye, and ye will be My witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Revelation 11:
11 And after the three days and half days, a breath/spirit<4151> of life out of the God entered in them and they stand upon their feet and great fear falls upon the ones observing them.

Much like the bones of the whole house of Israel coming alive thru the spirit in Ezekiel 37:10:

Ezekiel 37:10 And I prophecy as He instructed and the spirit/breath<7307> is coming in them and they are living and are standing on their feet, a great army/host, great, exceedingly-exceedingly.

Your OP is merely a copy of the Bible verses. Do you have any further point besides simply sharing scriptures?
‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty. (Zechariah 4: 6, NIV) This is actually how we are called to live. Not by might not by power but by God’s Spirit.

Excellent..........:amen:
Who can't but be awed by the power and might of the Spirit of the Lord God Almighty.

Genesis 1:1 (NKJV)
3841. pantokrator from 3956 and 2904; the all-ruling, i.e. God (as absolute and universal sovereign):--Almighty, Omnipotent.
3956. pas pas including all the forms of declension; apparently a primary word; all, any, every, the whole
2904. kratos krat'-os perhaps a primary word; vigor ("great") (literally or figuratively):--dominion, might(-ily), power, strength.

"almighty" occurs 57 times in 57 verses in the NKJV.

Almighty mentioned in just 1 verse outside of the book of Revelation of the NT, and that by our dear brother in Christ, the Apostle Paul:

G3841 παντοκράτωρ (pantokratōr) occurs 10 times in 10 verses

2 Corinthians 6:18
And I shall be to ye as a father and ye shall be to Me as sons and daughters is saying Lord Almighty/pantokratwr <3841>.

Hallelujah and Its Hebrew Meaning - Israel Study Center
“Hallelu” (הללו) and “Yah” (יה).

1 After these I hear as a great sound of a vast throng in the heaven, saying,
"HalleluYah! the salvation and the glory and the honor, and the power of our God; 2 That true and righteous His judgings, that He judges the great harlot who corrupts the earth in Her whoredom, and avenges<1556> the blood of His bond-servants out of Her hand".
3 And a second time they have declared<4483> "HalleluYah! and the smoke of Her is ascending into the ages of the ages!"
4 And fall the twenty four Elders and the four living-ones,
and they worship to the GOD the One sitting upon the Throne, saying, "Amen! HalleluYah!"
5 And a Voice came out from the Throne saying: "Be ye praising to the GOD of us, all ye bond-servants of Him, and those fearing Him, the small and the great".
6 And I hear as sound of a throng, much, and as a sound of waters, many, and as sound of thunders, strong saying: "HalleluYah! that reigns Lord the God *of-us, the Almighty/pantokratwr <3841>."
