I do not believe that God ever intervenes in the world in any physical way. His effect on us is at the spiritual level.

Scripture strongly states that if you don't believe it, it surely will not happen.

" He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee."

So what happened to Stephen?

YOU may do; many Christians don't.

"From Paul .......... to all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints", Romans 1:7.
"To the church of God in Corinth, together with all the saints throughout Achaia," 2 Corinthians 1:1.
"To the saints in Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus", Ephesians 1:1.
"May you have power, together with all the saints, to grasp who wide ..... is the love of Christ", Ephesians 3:18.
"To all the saints in Christ Jesus at Philippi", Philippians 1:1.
For what it is worth, the Orthodox Church also teaches that believers are saints in the context of the Scriptures you posted. We don’t dispute those verses. (There are multiple contexts for us when talking about saints). Some things being said here do not reflect the teachings of the Church as a whole.

When Paul wrote to a church, he often addressed the believers at that church, as saints; people who were IN Christ and called to be holy. He, and Jesus, said that believers could be filled with God's Holy Spirit.

I don't know how you define the word "saint", but there is nothing in the NT to suggest that this is an honour that is given to only a few special people.
ALL believers are called to be born again, John 3:3 and be filled with the Spirit. ALL believers can be sons of God, John 1:12, Romans 8:16-17 and have every spiritual blessing in Christ, Ephesians 1:3.

He was made alive. What does your mind says happened?

Okay, I see intend to evade the question rather than engage in forthright discussion.

When the members of the Sanhedrin heard this, they were furious and gnashed their teeth at him. But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. 56 “Look,” he said, “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”

At this they covered their ears and, yelling at the top of their voices, they all rushed at him, dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their coats at the feet of a young man named Saul.

While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”

Scripture explicitly says that Stephen was stoned. It does not say that God prevented them from stoning him. It does not say that the stones never touched him, or that they did not cause any physical harm to him.

Thanks for explaining what your mind revealed to you. Have you asked the Father to reveal it to you as well, or was there no need because the explanation of the mind was sufficient enough for you?

What does your mind tell you concerning seeing Jesus standing next to a being recognized as God? How does it reconcile them being One....and which does it suggest you pray to......since we are focusing on the letter, and not spirit.....and we have no choice, as the mind cannot understand the things of the spirit.

I understand. I dont not wish to prove who has the most of Man's wisdom. When you are ready to go further, let me know:

"Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
3 And this will we do, if God permit."

But take your time....your Father will keep the calf waiting for your return.

I say lets go now For I am thirsty for living waters....But if you want to try you chances after the grave,,after which there is no repentance, who am I to say no?

verily I say....

"And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?"

Some people misinterpret scripture and think that conquering death means that they will live in this body on this tainted creation forever. They think that anyone physically having ailments or dying is "proof" that they were not truly saved and that they will be the only "true Christian" because they will live on this earth forever.

Pray for them for them to receive revelation.

Christ spoke explicitly about the RESURRECTION, and the gospel tells us that there will be an end to this world and a new one will take its place. Some people hand pick scriptures that support a desire of theirs to never physically die and enjoy the pleasures of the flesh forever. Pray for them to understand God's real plan.

It seems that that's about all we can do. Other than that, it would be easy to assume that people who believe that way must be either very young, or very isolated. If they've been on this earth for awhile, they've witnessed people dying. They've been to the funerals of loved ones who were believers. However, I'm sure they've never met anyone who says they're a "true Christian" and have been alive for the past 200 or 500 or maybe even 1500 years. Heck, if there's no single person on this earth who has been alive for the past 2,000 years, it means that every single person who was alive and got saved in the days of the early church just after Christ Himself and the apostles were here were never truly saved because they all died.

What he revealed to you was what scripture (the words of the Master) says. Does thou not believeth scripture?
Wow, dude! Just WOW!

In all my time here, I have never witnessed such a display of arrogance, self righteousness, judgement and passive-aggressiveness in a single post.
