Lesbian Priest Tapped To Head Major Abortion Group, Calls Abortionists ‘Modern-Day Saints’

Last week, the National Abortion Federation(NAF) tapped Katherine Ragsdale, a lesbian Episcopal priest, as the international abortion organization’s new president and CEO.

“Today, the National Abortion Federation Board of Directors announced that The Very Reverend Katherine Hancock Ragsdale has been named President and CEO,” NAF announced in a press release published on their website last Wednesday.

Ragsdale, who has been serving as the group’s interim president and CEO since September, gushed over the announcement, calling abortionists “heroes” and “modern-day saints.”

“It has been a great privilege to lead this organization for the last year and work alongside the incredible and dedicated NAF Board, staff, and membership,” the Christian leader said. “Abortion providers are some of my personal heroes and modern-day saints. It is an honor to be able to serve and support NAF members as they provide compassionate health care amid increasing attacks and challenges.”

It's really hard to believe the leaders of the Episcopalean Church has fallen this far. Do they not read the Bible?

I'm not sure she is leading anybody if she has sought secular employment outside of the church. In the Episcopal Church, a congregation calls its own Priest with the blessing of the Bishop. So a once-ordained Priest who can't get a call from a congregation or an agreement from a Bishop to serve in his/her diocese pretty much has to look for a job elsewhere. I wonder if that applies in this case?

I think her quoted sentiments don't accurately reflect the opinion of most Episcopalians I know.

The aborted babies go back to heaven. If the parents want to go to Heaven then they need to be reconciled with their baby. "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14)Jesus loves the little children.

I have a daughter that never made it to the womb before an IUD got her. I had a dream about her once and the angels that are taking good care of her. Now that her brother is there in Heaven with her, he is taking good care of her and telling her about her parents here on Earth. Every tear we shed for them is saved in a bottle. They can go see that bottle. I am sure there are people that deal with this and want to be reconciled with their child in Heaven.

The IUD caused a miscarriage. I do not know if that is how they are suppose to work or not. My wife was in college and we had our son. I wanted her to finish college before we had another child. I sent her to the doctor to recommend some sort of birth control. That turned out to be a big mistake. I should have followed the teaching of the catholic church regarding birth control.
