Well, they were smarter than a world full of people, apparently.
They did not rebel against the Creator, to be destoyed by the flood - mankind caused that. The dinos , if their were any big ones left, perished along with sinful mankind.
Babies or small ones might have been on the ARK. (some have been seen in the last hundred years or longer ago, in the Congo area in Africa) ....

Most of them were wiped out; you can't get more intelligent after that. Up to that point, they would have been just intelligent enough to survive to produce viable offspring.
Surviving avian dinosaurs today are as intelligent as many primates (in certain respects). Whether their ancient ancestors were that intelligent around 66 million years ago is not known.

Look up entropy, or the second law of thermodynamics. Improvement only comes by way of He Who Exists Outside the Universe.

What about He Who FILLS THE UNIVERSE ?
"Ephesians 4:10 He who descended is the very one who ascended ...
This also means that the one who went deep into the earth is the same one who went into the highest heaven, so he would fill the whole universe.
So the one who came down is the same one who went up, above and beyond the heavens, to fill the whole universe with his presence."

Now the church is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all. which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all. Which is his body and the fullness of him who fills all in all. The church is Christ's body and completes him as he fills everything in every way.

The astronomers are discovering more of his awesome handiwork. And Jesus 'ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe (Ephesians 4:10). What a thought - Jesus fills, with his love and power, this vast universe which is more that 12 thousand billion, billion miles across!

I'm hardly a sun worshiper. The sun is only a localized electrical phenomenon in the electric universe. I worship the One Who is not contained in that universe, but yet (as yeshuaslavejeff states) fills it.
