So it's moving around earth at around 2,300 mph as earth orbits the sun at some 66,600 mph. Means it's traveling at up to 66,600 + 2,300 as it moves in the direction of earth's orbit, then 66,600 - 2,300 as it slows down when it swings back the other way. So constantly accelerating and decelerating by up to 4,600 mph. Is that your position?
I'm talking about the effect of the moon's supposed gravitational pull here on earth. It cannot overcome the earth's gravity or even come close, as shown by lagrange points:
