This really reads like whoever is preparing the talking points parroted here is scared of having to run against Biden.

Well Bob, you realize you can read posts at any time of the day, don't you? If you're too tired to think yet just hold off till you're ready. If you've never going to be ready to read informative posts on a topic you shouldn't bother making a thread on that topic. Sure you can use it as an echo chamber for the Trump crowd, get folks who'd blame the victim if Trump shot somebody on 5th Avenue to agree with you.
That only reflects poorly on y'all to everybody else because it's not a good thing to just keep your uninformed opinion when the chance to be informed is fed to you.

It was too late at night for me to have written it - we're in the same time zone so my timestamps reflect the time where you live. But I struggle with insomnia (because I'm wearing a new insulin pump and sleeping with it is a challenge, not because "liberals are less happy," ha) and it was a way of unwinding my mind. I anticipated your reaction, that your attitude would be exactly what you agreed it was - that you were keeping your uninformed opinions regardless. But I also anticipated that other people actually would bother to read it. And not just on here. My school has a private forum for students to talk about topics relevant to our fields, and this forum has been useful in political science discussions there because it has a demographic we're not as likely to encounter IRL. We don't have any boomers living with their goats up on mountaintops. So I share screenshots (I do cross through names so you're just the Goat Whisperer there) of exchanges here. Thanks for being useful.
