And the way to do that is to be your real self, not just some guy who is doing what he thinks he's supposed to do to get laid. I was serious with my advice. It works.
That's not always good advice. Sometimes a person's "real self" is garbage.

Sometimes a person's "real self" is garbage.
  1. If that's true, it is better to FIX IT, rather than to whitewash it.
  2. If the man likes being garbage, there is plenty of lady garbage to choose from...
"But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work." 2 Timothy 2:20-21 NKJV

I will say that the male incel community is fascinating for me. Probably a rare instance of intense male masochism on display. They harbor simplistic outlooks about the dating world. Men are apparently always the victims. Biology is apparently set to be on hard mode for the man. Much like feminists they seem to hold onto that victimhood and do not want to let it go. Yet reality is more nuanced than that. Both genders have their pros and cons when it comes to the dating scene.

Some of the incel type videos on YouTube are amusing. Where they show what "Chads" look like. I mean its not so much I disagree that attraction is mostly biological and universal, but most people men and women know that they're not going to be getting the cream of the crop when it comes to mates. Some of these YouTube videos, they review dating shows on television. If a man with a weak chin walks in the incel narrator is like "ohhh.. noo.. this guy has already lost. Game over for him". Lol.. they tend to say worse than that but I'd like to keep it CF appropriate, lol.

I suspect most incels are just angry that they can only attract low-tier women. Yet I suspect if most worked on themselves they could get someone at least semi-cute. The chances of me ever marrying a supermodel is slim, but that's alright. I never had any expectations for that. As long as your man or woman has some feminine/masculine traits you should be fine. Some people are just too greedy.

Involuntary celibacy is a stupid concept. Put in a little work and you can find someone. There are women with fetishes who find disfigurement/burn victims attractive. If the elephant man were alive today and used the internet he could find someone lol. So even the extremes really have no excuse. While I agree there is mostly a universal set of traits men and women go for, evolution is also about mutations. There are people who will find all kinds of things attractive. The pool might be smaller, but its there. The best part is, people with strange attractions can be traditionally very attractive themselves.
Too bad some people use it as an insult. Though ironic women could use it since they would be degradating themselves.

There is a ready solution for the Incels' problem available through an extensive cadre of professionals. And since Incels objectify women to an extreme anyway, I don't see why they should have any particular difficulty with it.
If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, that's only legal in Nevada, and I hear those establishments are very expensive.

What the term incel?

If so, yeah I find it funny. Especially when feminists use it as an insult. The people who normally tell men that they need to stop basing their self worth on whether not they can get sex since such thinking is inspired by toxic masculinity. Then they turn around and use it as an insult against people they don't like, even if the people they're insulting have never indicated that they cannot get sex.

You can't fight human nature.

How can a frustrated young man who is involuntarily celibate break out of the state? I think it's not right and cruel that many or even the majority of men my age today are lonely and can't find any companionship or sexual intimacy--no matter how one tries to phrase it it's still not good. And I do believe it happens more to men then women of that same age.

I just think it's sad to see and it's making me feel paranoid about the prospects of my own dating life.
It's sad to think that there was a time in American history when what you're experiencing was so unlikely that the term "involuntary celibate" would never have existed. You have all my sympathy and support.

Love your compassion.
I've been there. Back when I was a kid that's how we were intentionally socialized, women as well as men. That's in part what the sexual revolution of the 60s was revolting against. There's no excuse for it now.

We are in a mess because of the sexual revolution (I would say devolution but not sure if it is flaming)

And "involuntary celibates" apparently happens to be one of the messes influenced as a bad side effect of it. In a way it's ironic.

Can we not have a revival of some sort?

Or no, do we have to wait until Jesus returns and America (or it's ideas) is already judged and gone by then anyway?

Fixing it would require making some pretty big changes.

Then again, the country has been through some pretty big changes over the last several decades, none of which were ever voted upon. So maybe turning it all around should happen the same way.
