Sorry, I don't. Maybe someone can come up with an explanation of how the sun works, since the old 'nucular fusion' idea got trounced. Maybe electrical? Who could know but God?

They think that because people (who believe the moon is a created light) can not state how the moon or even the sun works. Then, that proves that the Bible is lying when the Bible states that God created two great lights.
And since the Bible is not true about the moon being a light, then that proves science is true.

So when Jesus face shone as the sun at the transfiguration. It was because of a nuclear reaction and not because God is light.

They also believe this is a real image of the sun they see in the sky.

If you want them to believe something you will simply have to come up with a lie, since they reject the truth from the Bible.

d_taylor, my man! I couldn't help but notice you still completely ignored my 2 questions. They're not going to magically go away. I really hope you'll engage with me in some discussion instead of pretending that nobody is actually asking you questions!

First off, the quote from you above is just nonsense. Plain and total nonsense. I believe in the Bible. I believe the Bible in consistent in its teachings. I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. And yet, I also believe that the moon is essentially a giant rock reflecting the light of the sun. I do not believe this contradicts Scripture in any fashion.

And science IS true when science is done right. Whether or not it is "done right" in a specific area is of course up for debate. But science "done right" can be a huge testimony to the awesomeness of God's creation!

Anyway, I just have 2 question for you. They aren't trick questions, they shouldn't even be difficult questions for you. I just have 2.

1) Please explain how the moon produces its own light.

2) Please explain the phenomenon you’ve documented where their are points of light just across the “line” of where the moon goes from bright to dark. Why does this phenomenon occur? Why does it ONLY occur right on the edge of the light transition?

While I searched in vain for the mainstream scientific papers I vaguely recall seeing a few years ago regarding a lack of predicted decay of some isotope or other in sunlight, and unearthing the remnants of all those phony cold fusion contraptions, I considered the buffoonery of it all.

Nuclear fusion is just science fiction, it exists nowhere except in the fevered imaginations of a few theoretical 'scientists', their coterie of maths geeks and the credulous general public. I could say sunlight is powered by vril, orgone or syzamagwy energy. It's all arrant nonsense absent experimental proof. All that exists is the illusion of proof, the devil's very good at that.

TWO lights - just as the Bible teaches.

True indeed. Lie down with dogs, you get fleas. Eat at the table of demons, you get sick and delusional.

Gee, I wonder why I went to all the trouble to get a degree in nuclear physics all those years ago.

Because you thought it was really worth something after having rejected so much of God's truth?

Jack I really don’t know why you went to all that trouble. Especially with such things like Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Chernobyl and Fukushima that do come to mind. Nuclear physics at its best. Maybe it’s time for a career change.

So your evidence of nuclear fusion is your degree. That's brilliant, what do you do for an encore?

Don't forget Jack Lemmon in the China Syndrome.

But seriously, as bad as those events were, the product of nuclear (fission) failures they have not been proven to be. For example, those 2 isolated Japanese cities exhibited the exact same aftermath phenomena as the earlier Tokyo firebombing, which left many concrete buildings still intact even around ground zero. Plus the longer term radiation effects (fallout) were not felt, and the first eyewitnesses were a den of Jesuits who miraculously survived. The list of irregularities goes on.

The best way to fake an 'atomic blast' is get shiploads of TNT laced with magnesium, creates a blinding flash followed by a monstrous explosion and the mushroom cloud. Then you hire a drama-queen actor to say something stupid like "I am death, destroyer of worlds" and Viola! Instant myth to wield over a craven populace to this day.

So the conspiracy expands... we don’t actually know what powers the sun, atomic bombs were faked, all nuclear reactors are actually something else... all countries claiming to have nuclear bombs are all in some conspiracy together to trick the general public.... the conspiracies get just dumber and dumber.

But back to the moon, which this awesome topic is about....

1) Please explain how the moon produces its own light.

2) Please explain the phenomenon you’ve documented where their are points of light just across the “line” of where the moon goes from bright to dark. Why does this phenomenon occur? Why does it ONLY occur right on the edge of the light transition?

I did not realize 90 million science miles, looks like 1000's of miles in real life.
How many things have you ever seen that look like ‘1000s of miles’ that you could make such a statement?

Regardless, the Sun is really...REALLY big. So even though it’s really far away, it still appears pretty big, even at this distance.

Yo D Taylor! So glad you’re still around this topic. Mind answering two questions for me?

1) Please explain how the moon produces its own light.

2) Please explain the phenomenon you’ve documented where their are points of light just across the “line” of where the moon goes from bright to dark. Why does this phenomenon occur? Why does it ONLY occur right on the edge of the light transition?

So the theory goes.

Theory? Tell that to our Lord:

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels (Matt 25:41)
